  1. Thanks Lazar lol but I think someone else was too quick lol
  2. Hello and welcome to PSFC I hope you love it here as much as we all do! So much to do and amazing people to meet! If you need any help feel free to ask!
  3. Thank you all for your help! Yesterday we all ended up taking a Saturday nap and by the time that I woke up the clinic was closed but they didn't really seem to bother her. This morning the spots seem to be disappearing and are now just light red spots where they were yesterday. So I'm not sure if it was chicken pox as I don't think even with a previous vaccination that they would disappear that quickly. I know that they usually take time to dry, crust over and then go away. I'm almost inclined to believe maybe it was an allergic reaction but they didn't look like hives or a heat rash.
  4. Thank you so much Lisa, I think here in Canada the chicken pox vaccination is included. but we were told that if she did ever get it, it would be a less severe case of it. I'll charge my camera batteries right now and take a picture. I never ever thought of that!
  5. I really appreciate your help mango! I've had a heat rash before and it doesn't seem to be it. I think that I might just take her into the clinic after lunch when hubby wakes up from his nap. The are raised pumps that are bright red with a whitish area surrounding the red bumps. She hasn't been scratching but says that they are itchy. They look like the start of blisters, but they aren't open.
  6. lol my poor customers have to suffer I hope my restaurants rating doesn't go down!!
  7. Thank you so much Mango, her flu consisted of nausea, high fever, loss of appetite (still ongoing). But Thankfully no coughing and red eyes. So hopefully that might mean she doesn't have the measles. I wonder if there is anything else that can cause the red spots that she has following the flu.
  8. My recipe is called hacker soup It's purple, green, and red the ingredients include Chicken (the hacker) Dragon Fruit ( For us to have the strength of dragons to ignore them) Lobster and Tuna (because they always have that fishy smell like hackers) It's kind of sticky, fishy, with a really strong after taste lol and it's made by combining all ingredients in a big pot on high temperature, boil for 4 hours and then simmer for a week I think the Hacker is number 4 because of those creepy eyes
  9. Thank you so much Lazar! That means soo much! *hugs*
  10. Kathy, I am so over joyed to hear the good news about your mom!! It's so wonderful to know that she is on the road to getting better, and is home and doing well. It's so so amazing to hear such great news after you have been having such a terrible week. Things like this just goes to show how strong the power prayer really is (sorry if this is offensive to anyone just my belief). Now I can't wait to hear great news about your up coming appointment with the surgeon! I wish all the best for you Kathy! *hugs hugs*
  11. awww Lazar, thats so wonderful that it was nothing terribly serious with your Dad. I can only imagine the worry that you and your family must have been going through. Huge hugs that everything turned out okay!!
  12. As I've posted before, both my kids were really sick with the flu, along with following myself getting sick and this morning it appears my daughter has a bunch of red bumps on the inside of her thighs, her neck, hands, arms, under arms, face (nothing on her back as of yet). I instantly thought chicken pox but she has all her vaccinations up to date along with her measles shot. I'm not exactly sure what to do, I'm worried that if I bring her into the open clinic (due to the weekend and our family physician is not working) that they will freak out do to the fact that this tends to be very contagious. I tried looking it up online but the pictures seem much more severe than with my daughters case. I've also noticed that I have a few bumps myself on my hand and arm. I guess I'm wondering what the starting stage of chicken pox and measles look like, and what I can do at home (besides oatmeal or baking soda bath) to help her. Also if I should get her examined right away or wait until monday..

  16. Sweetie, I really hate to sound greedy, but could I please ask for the golden bamboo I've been looking for it for a long time and just noticed you had it!
  17. sweetie, I find one of the best games around here for giving out items is the yes or no game created by Kasi Where members can post a question about the item and you can only answer in yes or no until someone guesses the item An active forum is the best time for this one though. The posting game can run all day long though so you might be able to get more people to enter that way. They seem to be quite varied with the winners Hope these suggestions helped!
  18. Happy Birthday Sweetie! Hope you have the best day!
