We had 2 x of these mine is the one with the black heat shield,My little brother on my dads This is the bike I took my motorcycle test on and still own from new again bought from the same dealer.I sold my XL to buy a CB400F which I did more miles on than any other bike owned to date before smashing the hell out of it and putting me ITU for a week! never quite been the same since weird init But you do see things in a differnt light! Mind you it was not long before the XL saw what it was built for!

No, The one shown in the picture was traded in for a new Honda CX500 in around 1980 at the same dealer.

My Dads Honda CB400F bought new in 1976 From Ken Ives Honda Leicester and fitted with craven panniers rack and top box the fairing is Craven clipper, I still have 2 of these! (don't ask) The Vincent a series C 1947 is the one he swaped for the Gold wing this was the 2nd vincent he had owned the first was in 1956/57 also a series C and bought wile he was an apprentice electrician must have been one hell of a pose.

Brand New Honda goldwing he fitted the chair and leading link forks him self and he had it painted to match the bike. He swaped this bike for his Vincent 1000 series C in 76 ish to Ken ives of Leicester.The Vincent was goimg to be featured in classic bike magazine but but holed a piston a week after the deal was done and a day before the photo shoot it was never featured, My dad offerd to reverse the deal as he did in good faith.But the new owner was happy and fully understood.All where happy.

If all the Renthals have the same inner diameter they doooont fit. Most bar ends are 22mm to big to fit inside the renthals. I think.
