  1. Think both forums are fantastic, .The BF obviously specially tends to deal with bandits which is good as i have a bandit and have been made very welcome. I've met a couple of great people on a recent rideout (2wheels,Lucan and stealthpirate,Mark) and i hope to remain a member for a long time to come. Dave Hutch was one of the first to welcome me on that site and taught me the complex (for me anyway) world of emoticons in the shout box . This site offers me the chance to interact with many different bikers, as I am a motorcyclist first i am interested in all things bike not just Bandits and hope to meet as many people as i can when the better weather arrives. As for rideouts IMO if you meet as a group, ride as a group, male, female, fast, slow, I'm just going to enjoy both forums equally for as long as i can
  2. An old guy was found dead in his front garden this morning frozen to death, News stated he was trying to clear his path and slipped sometime yesterday evening. When i was a youngen we used to go round neighbours and clear paths and NOT for money just had a bit more community spirit than seems to be about now. for the downer its just that its such a needless death!
  3. Definitely thinking mans glasses them Dave, look . Be my turn next there's not a snowballs chance in hell i'll bluff through another works medical
  4. Love those FJR'S peejay proper mile munchers, Hmm, I wonder!.......
  5. Hi Les, snow's been pretty bad here probably the same as Durham mate. Minus 13 yesterday at 3 am, Brrrr!
  6. Not allowed the beers but bath an early night sound good. Roll on Spring!
  7. Hello Dick, its a lovely part of the world to be snowed in at though!
  8. My wifes just got back from work and says she thinks there's summat up with the cars gears (12 year old Pug 206) had a quick look, its like stirring soup can't find any gear so I suspect the gear linkage so i told her "knackered" as you do. "Can you fix it tonight?" says she. (we have 3.5ft of snow and its passed the point of been a novelty), so i said "don't think I can fix it at all"! So now its my fault she has to get the bus in the morning, FRENCH CR*P(the car not the wife). 3 derailed trains, 6 stuck cars, 1 completely stuck road fuel tanker,20 sets of knackered points and i'm back up at 3am for the rant i feel better now. Hows your day been?
  9. Hopefully things will turn around for you mate but I fear a lot more of us will be getting the same news before things improve.

  12. Hi Stantheman, I used to have a Ebac dehumidifier in the garage but they have a frost protection built in, so mine just refused to work in cold temperatures which was mainly when I needed it to work. Not sure but I think its under a mountain of crap in the loft now!
