  13. Just tried Rob and it goes to utube but to multiple menus about something else taking photo's or something
  14. Been a Train Driver for 26 years and had 3 fatalities, 2500 tonnes of train takes a lot of stopping. The feeling of utter desperation as you head towards someone intent (or not, accidents do happen) on taking their own life is indescribable. My only defence is a warning horn and the inquest after is a whole other emotional rollercoaster. So thanks stue11 for thinking of the Driver cos its something I'll think obout the rest of my life.
  15. Had a look at that one myself maddog, massive torque and includes impact sockets, plus Clarke - a good make. Went with mine as its handy not to have a lead but looks a good buy

  19. Wish I had room for a compressor oslin06 would be really usefull for loads of jobs. Mates got a decent capacity compressor with all the gear but he has a double garage and a workshed, Lucky bugger!
  20. It worked fork upside down in the workmate wife and brother sat on the workmate the using a sizzor jack and a block of wood, jacked up the tube into the slider then the bolt came out no damage. New seal and fork oil in both forks and jobs a good un . All ready for MOT tomorrow. I'm a happy bunny! Thanks for your replies smilinjack and Bezzer
  21. Thanks for the replies , Thing is Bezzer I did release the bolt first but not out completely, if we did get the seal out using self tappers because the bolt underneath won't tighten or come out when new oil is added it would pour out the bottom. This morning going to try putting the fork upside down in a vice then push up on the tube with a sizzor jack and see if there is enough pressure to hold the damper from turning.....watch this space!
  22. Done a couple of seals before on a gsx750 slabby used a flat chamfereder bar to stop the damper turning. But because the Honda has the long damper rod which wont release, can't get anything down the tube.
