  1. Had the Terry and June theme stuck in my head a while ago! (and now so do you!) lol
  2. Its cardboard, it wont weld on very well. I was thinking of selotape....lol
  3. Problem with any torque bar is the fact that the rear wheel is as fat as it is. Think I'm gonna solid mount it all. All I've done is made another template and mount it to the outer side of the caliper.
  4. Will be a beautiful bike once you remove the comedy exhaust and lights.
  5. and thank you for your comment and being honest, like i say its very hard to please every one ,I will try and learn from this and hope you all understand With everything Dave as said, and i'd also like to add that we are a friendy sight, folk who spend enough time on here will find out in time, we all like a laugh and a joke at someone elses expense from time to time and we do try our best to keep this forum alive and happy for everyone to use, me and especially Dave oh and our Chad get a far ribbing which most wouldnt tolerate. This is the point, you haven't learnt at all. The offending photo is still up and you haven't deleted it. If your moderation and usage policy was any good, this post would have been deleted before the first reply. Maybe you should add on the joke usage, Sexist comments. This site used to be ok when it was a few folks using it, since it has become more popular the Moderation has in my opinion been lacking. I belong to one of the best sites on the Net, TriumphRat.net and they wouldn't dream of letting a post like this even see the light of day and they have hundred of thousand of posters and women are certainly in the minority. This post should have been deleted and not even allowed to see the light of day and for it still to be here and posted too, smacks of bad moderation and AUP (acitve usage policy) that and the fact people can still post to it and its not even been locked. Shame on you... Once again! Post your jokes, funny videos and funny pictures in here. Personal Attacks Will Result In Administrative Action Strickly No Pornography or Racist Material (please do not read posts in this section if easily offfended )
  6. Hey Mark Did think about this as my 'Plan A' with the under slung caliper. Problem is mounting it at the top there's nowhere to run a torque bar as the damn suspension gets in the way. Personally it is the preferred plan but ain't gonna work unfortunately. So it's plan A.1 (at the moment)
  7. First attempt at caliper carrier. Any thoughts ideas for improvement welcome. The plan is to have a piece welded onto the swingarm then run 2x mounting bolts through the brackets with a spring between the parts to allow for a little movement.
  8. Pays me to look at a job properly before commenting on how things don't fit! I was offering the caliper up under the swingarm as thats how I wanted to fit it. But now I've had time to look at it in the original 'above' the swing arm position I am liking it. I've taken a little time to make a carrier template out of card and will also make a template of the bracket I'll have to weld onto the arm itself. Picture will follow but im a litle board waiting to pick the kids up from school. Stay tuned!
  9. Think about what you're saying man! It's a nice bike but it ain't no pile of bacon butties.
  10. After the controversy maybe the admin staff on here could set up an 'Adults Only' or 'Over 18's' section. This way if you are of a sensitive disposition you can stay clear or at least know what to expect!
  11. Had a new pair fitted on my old RD350lc at a mates shop. Told me to be careful but didn't tell me he'd reconnected the powervalve. Left the work shop went to take a right on to the main road then the next thing I know I'm facing the shop sat on my arse facing the shop. If that wasn't bad enough my mate and the four guys from the workshop were all looking at me from the showroom window pissin em'selves laughing. Lesson learnt!
  12. Yep the plan is for pods but thats a way off yet. Post man brought me the rear brake set up and it was as described What I didn't think about is that because the drive side of the Aprilia is not the same as the Honda, and I'm running the rear wheel backwards the caliper mounts point the wrong freakin way!!!!!!!! Damn it. Any ideas of 125 sports style bikes with the brakes on the near side?
  13. Pmsl. You've been having some good progress! Waiting on the feckin postman! Nothing to update really. Tidied up my shed a bit but I'm sure you don't wanna see that lol.
  14. I had to run in my GSXr6 800 of the longest miles I've ever spent on a bike!! As previously mentioned low revs, gentle gear change and don't hold any rev range for any length of time. Then the 1st service followed by a full bore race home at 160mph
