  1. Father, in the name of your son Jesus Christ, I ask for healing for this sister. Lord, she is having pain on the right side of her head, you know the cause of this, and Jesus, I ask that you touch her with your healing touch, not just for her head, but for the blahs that she's been feeling. Jesus, you are our great physician, and by your stripes, we are healed. You bore all of our sickness and infirmities upon the cross, and you did so with joy. Jesus, I pray in your mighty name that you will spread your gracious wings around her and comfort her and draw closer to her until she feels better. In the name of your mighty son, the victorious one, Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
  2. Angelwings, do you live close to/in South Carolina? If you do, I'd be willing to be your friend.
  3. HALLALUJAH!!!!! Praise be to the One and Only!!!
  4. Awesome word Flight! God is so good to us. I will be lifting my hands and receiving his gifts for me. The cross was not an easy path for Christ, even he asked that the Lord remove this cup from him, but he continued and persevered, and we a free today because of it. The Lord showed me a rhema word yesterday. It goes like this. I was listening to a sermon for communion in our nursing home given by the pastor. He talke about how Jesus was carrying the cross, and how he colapased and Simon carried it the rest of the way. It then dawned on me that there was purpose to that. If we are true followers of Christ, we are to take up our crosses, deny ourselves and follow after him. We are to share in his suffering. It wasn't merely that Jesus got to weak...no, he was giving us an example of how it would be to follow him and to carry our crosses. Wow! I had never seen that before but what a blessing it was to see that even during the darkest hours of Christ's life, he was still teaching/feeding his sheep. What a powerful and might God we serve!
  5. KBrooks, just some of my thoughts here, o.k., I'd like to help you for a minute. God understands where you are comming from. He has been there, he was human (and divinely God) so he experienced every emotion, thought, hurt, that we experience in real life today. This applies to both you and your wife. The heart of a woman is a complex issue. We feel things very deeply, and it takes us longer to get over wounds especially those caused by someone we love. Rejection of any sort (including depression/opression) is very difficult for us to handle. Think of your wife's spirit (by spirit here, I mean, emotional love) as a flower. Each time she is hurt, and no water (restoration) is deposited, her spirit wilts, and it happens until all the petals are gone, the stem is dried up and the beauty that was there has faded. When a woman reaches this point, it takes time to rebuild. She wants to know that you are worthy of her opening her spirit to you again. Having said that, I think that it may not be a bad idea to go to your pastor (or he can refer you to someone) for counseling. That way, you will have a safe neutral ground for both parties to talk and share. I get the feeling also, that you have not let go of your first wife, and the hurt and pain it caused. Forgive her, and put it to rest. Forgivness is not for her, it's for you. Give it to God and let him heal that in you. Our mind can be a very powerful thing, and a lot of people call it something like self fullfilling prophecy, when we dwell on things in the past, we unknowingly set ourself up for failure in the future. God is a God of reconciliation, but both people have to be willing (and it sounds like she is since y'all don't believe in divorce) to reconcile. satan is trying to tear families apart today, because if the family unit is weak, so are God's people, and his church. I believe (my thoughts) your dreams and visions are lining up with what you already feel in your heart, and what God has revealed to you, that you have not written here. Father, In the mighty name of Jesus, I come before you on behalf of this brother. I lift him up to you Lord. You are the great healer, the great deliverer. Jesus, there is none like you in all of the Heaven and the Earth. God, I ask that you touch him, heal him and set him free from some bondages that are holding him back. Lord, I ask that you renew and restore his spirit, so that he can in turn help renew and restore his wife's spirit. I pray that you will remove the barriers between them so they can have and open and honest communication. I pray for peace so they can discuss things without being hurt/wounded by one another. Father, I ask that you put protection around his wife's mind so that she will only listen to you and that no weapon formed against her in hell will prosper. I ask that you give her peace, and I pray that you will begin the restoration of her spirit as well. God, you alone are the only one who knows every aspect of this situation, and you are more than able to meet every need. I ask that your blessings will be upon them, and that you will hide them in the shadow of the almighty one. In Jesus name, Amen.
  6. From personal experience, I can speak that frustration is a way God moves us. (At least he did with me). I was so frustrated with my job, it wasn't what I want to do. I was just blah about everything. When I got to the point where I said God, I can't do this anymore, I was so listless, and about to come undone in a million peaces. God began to show me what HE wanted me to do with my life. Then, He sent a prophet behind him to confirm what He said. That happened quick. Friday and Saturday God began to show me, and on Sunday, the prophet confirmed it. God doesn't desire for us just to muddle through life. God has a plan for each and everyone of his children. We all have a destiny to fulfill. What is it that brings you joy, what is the one thing that you love to do more than anything? Our calling is usually along the same vein. Me, I love to do hair and makeup. I can't tell you how many times I've fixed up my friends, etc. See, your passion for what you love, will always come through in your life. If you are a Christian, God has purpose for you. These are just my thoughts, but there are many ways to be a defender and protector of human life. Some examples are, EMS (medic), Lawyer/Advocate, Doctor, Nursing Home Administrator, etc. These are just some examples. I'm saying there are many different ways God may choose to bring that to you.
  7. Father, We know that it is your will that this sister sees her mother for forgiveness and apologizing. Lord, I ask that you be with her, help her to follow through with this, for this isn't something that she merely wants to do, it's something that you've commanded of her, and Lord, I know that when she follows through with this, there will be such a liberation in her spirit, and she will feel you pour out more into her life. Jesus, we know that you are the God of this situation, and Lord, we ask for the right words to speak, the right attitude, and for you to guide her feet. Thank you Jesus! Amen!
  8. Thank you hind'sfeet. I need all the prayer I can get.
  9. Amen! Amen! Glory to God, He is faithful beyond all measure! Great is HIS goodness to His Children! Bless the Lord!
  10. Y'all, Please pray for me. I had a dream Friday night about my work (which I posted), and I know God knows about the situation and how my supervisor treats me and one of my co-workers. I got very discouraged today because my supervisor didn't speak to me today....I mean, at all. When you work together in a room, it makes it difficult, and uncomfortable. I know that she has major issues, and I guess it really shouldn't bother me, but it does. I'm tired of her lying, stealing, being rude and vindictive to me and my co-worker. Please pray that God will take care of this issue soon. If anyone has any words they would like to share that the Lord gives them, that would be welcome. Thanks!
  11. Father God, I pray for this sister in the name of Jesus. I pray that you will send her true friends that she can rely on and build relationships with. God, I ask that you send might women of God her way, that they will pour into her life, and God, I ask that you will send those to her that will always be honest with her, even in the times she may not want them to be. God I pray for people that will be a safe place for her, people that will keep the secrets of her heart safe, and not reveal them to others. I pray for peace, understanding, wisdom and guidance for this sister. Lord, you are going to bless her with those she needs so she can grow in you. God, we give you praise and we thank you for what you are going to do. Amen!
