I know how that feel - the amount of stuff I've given to charity when I was moving - bags and bags! You really don't realise how much stuff you have until you have to move it (out) and I was moving from 2 bed flat to a bedroom. I have promised to myself that once the "work" is done and I'm happy with it I will slowly start to replace some of my clothes (as I'm very very slowly getting slimmer) but I will do it in a way of "1 in 1out" that way I won't end up with overflowing wardrobes full of stuff I don't wear. Luckily I'm not sales impulse buyer. I don't actually like clothes shopping right now as I get very easily frustrated - I'm between sizes so it's really difficult to find something that fits well

oh no! I still have not re-organized my wardrobe since the plumber's been and my landlord had to take all my stuff out so they can run a water pipe at the back on the wardrobe. I will have to do it this weekend as I'm tired of not being able to find anyting. I'm almost caught up on laundry and ironing so I need to put that away in proper place. Due to nice weather last weekend and few days earlier this week I opened box with my summer clothes and found out that I have lots of stuff that no-longer fits so I'm planning to have a big sort out and give it to local charity shop. Yes long weekend, last one for months and I will be clearing my room - I really need to get a life

Hello Zoonie - yes move some books but only enough to create space so you can sit down and put your feet up with a cuppa (of a coffee). I'm doing OK - managed to (finally) meet up with Tiph yesterday but due to mad traffic in London (well she did come here in rush hour) she was late and we only had 5 minutes before she was having a dinner with some friends so we just managed to have a picture taken by her hubby (I posted it in Wish's thread). Apart from that nothing new or exciting in my life. It looks like I'll be in house on my own this bank holiday weekend as my housemate is going to some book festival (freebie from someone she knows) outside of London. Any progress with your house?

I started to watch Dr Who when Christopher Ecleston (spelling?) played the Doctor and I liked him - but I fell in love with Dr Who when David Tennant took over and I was soooooo gutted when he decided to leave. I must say I only seen the first episode with new doctor and I was not that impressed but I have to say that Iike Lisa I'm very biased. Maybe if I give Matt a chance I might like him too but it will never be same like when David Tennant was in it (not for me).

I have got a ticket to see Jean Michel Jarre in October. He played in Prague about 14 years ago - shortly after I discovered his music but I was studying for my finals then so my mum didn't let me go. After so many years (still loving his music) a friend of mine told me that he was going to have a concert in London this year and I felt that it was a sign. Because I have a mobile with O2 I have access to priority tickets before they go on general sale I managed to buy a ticket before they were being sold to public. I am so looking forward to seeing him on stage as his music is so beautiful (OK now I'm showing my age) and his shows are reported to be great. Couple of months ago I went to a small gig which had Delain in a line up of performers. I like their music too and it was great as there were no more than 300 people present so even though I was standing at the back I still had good view of the band. I would also like to see Adam Lambert as he's got great voice but I don't really like him live - I've seen some live footage and he doesn't sound as good as in studio (sadly most singers/bands are like that).

Have you ever seen or thought you had seen someone famous while shopping?
Bee1 replied to Gaiamaiden's topic in The Cafe
I have not really met anyone famous - back home or even here in UK. I have seen Nick Ferrari (he's show host on LBC radio) - he was helping his friend who just opened sports memorabilia shop - I had a chat with him and also got a picture taken with him - he was really nice. I have been to Gordon Ramsay's book signing and he was nice too! -
I have recently moved after splitting up with my BF and had to be very ruthless with my stuff. I was never really a hoarder but moving out of 2 bed flat to a double room is quite a difference. Luckily there is a charity shop nearby so they were quite happy Bedding - I currently have one set only and two towels so I need to do some shopping soon.

I think that's a brilliant idea - I was often dreamed about meeting fellow ceegeeans. I had near meeting with Marie F (wuzzy) and Tiph (should be meeting with her on 29th so hopefully it will be third time lucky). I'm (dare to say) not bad cook myself so I can also help out with food (low or high in syns )
