  1. Yes Gill - the one at Royal Hospital road. We had the "menu prestige" - 7 course taster menu with foie gras for starter (amongs others), roasted pidgen breast for main and 3 deserts (I swapped one for cheese selection) Pre- starter was a frog leg on a bed of roasted garlic and leek soup - it was very yummy, it taste similar to chicken
  2. yes that's him - the foul mouthed chef. I have met him once on a book signing and he was very nice. I have a picture and most of his cookbooks
  3. *drool* hope you enjoy it. I have finally learned how to insert stuff to that website - so far it has part of my cheesecake recipe but I will be adding more stuff - will have to translate the czech recipes though
  4. I think I'm still recovering from Monday and the lack of sleep (as per my FB status - got home at 2.45am to get up at 6.30am). Actually I didn't even get home instead I crashed at Mr B's (who was out with me) but it was soooo worth it. We went to Ramsay's in Chelsea and the food was to die for!! How are you?

  8. No worries Frannie - I hope you trip will go well and it won't be as bad as you think. I'm leaving now too - lunch time and it's nice outside today so I'll go for a walk.
  9. Frannie - I find a solution for you! on android forum: Q: Has anyone found a video player apps for the Eris that will play saved videos from the SD card in MP4 or avi formats? A: Video player is already built in. Just go into Albums and play the video. I play MP4 video off my SD card.

  11. that's not on a market here in UK frannie (Mr B used to have HTC TyTN II but that was windows operated). but I have find the instruction manual (in case you don't have it) http://member.america.htc.com/download/Web_materials/Manual/DROID_ERIS_Verizon/DROID_ERIS_Verizon_English_UM_11_5.pdf there is mentioning of adding music - your music must be on your memory card and not on phone that techically should be able to play movies/video but I can't swear on it.
  12. I have an Iphone not familiar with android phone but if it's similar to Iphone then there should be a way to add files to the phone - what is your exact make/model number? I could google it for you if you want
  13. people on my morning train must think I'm a nutter. I have put TBBT season 3 (well most of it) on my phone and I'm watching it on my morning commute to work. It's very hard not to laugh and people are giving you weird looks when I do laugh (but it's sooooooooo funny)
  14. I'm sooo hungry now - all this talk about food. I don't have a waffle maker and I was considering of getting one but I wanted to know about potato waffles as I like them but the ones from shop have too many calories in it (all the extra oil/fat used) so I was thinking of making my own. Love sweet waffles too (very occasioanly) - with some fruit compot and whipped cream and chocolate sauce *drool*
  15. thanks Kijo and BG I was always wondering about that. not sure what potato batter mix is but I guess I could try to google it. How do you make potato pancakes - that does sounds interesting. We have something similar called (well in english anyway) and it's kind of similar to potato rosti but bigger (even though I make mine small, almost bite size) - greated potatoes, few spoons of flour, bit of milk, salt, pepper, majoram, garlic, smoked sausage (e.g. frankfurters) or smoked bacon - optional. Mix it all up and spoon in hot frying pan and cook to light brown on both sides.
  16. Ok someone who owns a waffle maker please answer my question (something I was wondering about for a while): if you put mash potatoes in waffle maker - do you get potato waffles (not sure if that's only UK thing but you get them frozen from shops)?
  17. frannie - do you have a waffle maker? hello Kijo
  18. ♫ I like my men like I like my coffee - hot, strong and sweet ...♫ I have some sweetener in my draw for the coffee as I don't take regular sugar
  19. hello Frannie and BG Frannie - coffee hot, strong and with milk please oh I won't say no to nice hot cross bun either
  20. Hello Zoonie and Bogie @bogie - hope you little one will get better soon I'm doing OK, bit tired but it's friday Any news about Socks zoonie?
  21. how is everyone? Boss is back from holidays so I've been busy last few days.
  22. Paige I think you should read Twilight and New Moon books - it fills out lots of blank as there is so much from books they couldn't put in movies. I have seen Twilight movie first and then read the book but rest of them I read book first (I personally think it's better that way).
