Hi Jackdy, After collecting so many years of Hot Wheels I have found that to collect a single casting is like to have 1 aim in life. Like you I have since long move on to collect multiple casting. Suggestion given by member above is a good guide but always remember, this is a hobby. There are other more important things that you may need to settle first. Think of other things you need to do in life like saving money for a house, a car or even for your future baby. Don't fall into trap like some collectors who had to give up their hobby for personal matters. Please do select a casting that attracts you and says who you are. Knowing you for this short time I can easily narrow down to Japanese cars. Why not try to collect all the Japanese car models that were made by Mattel all this years. I know it's a tough challenge but I too nearly collect every casting(not variant) of Japanese cars made by Mattel. In the past my grandma advice us to put a layer of newspaper whenever we pack books in the boxes. The chemicals use for printing newspaper will prevent cockroaches and other insects to attack. I've been storing my HW in those HW case boxes and so far no problem. Maybe you can try newspaper but you may need to change it often. Another way to save your HW is just let them loose. My 3 cents
