Emmmm.....it take me about 12 days to finish this custom police car.
The first Evo X Japan Police car ever seen, custom by me,muah ha ha ha!
Hope you guys love it, here are those photos....

Thru the whole process, i didn't open up the base.



I have tried on more then three cars, finally i manage to finished it.
Other spoiled cars i have given to my kids.

Could you tell me how you did the detail lettering on the side and the number on the roof?

Thanks bro!
For the lettering on the roof, i use transparent sticker and print on it.
For the side lettering, i use Gundam Marker Pen and write on it.

That Gundam Marker pen must have a very fine tip to write like that. And must have very steady hand too.

Of course i will still using japanese car, GTR and R32 is a good idea, but i don't have enough number of units for this project....i should look for more.

I tried with drill, but not working. May be because of wrong nozzle?!

u have to drill it slowly at first.. first u must use bigger drill bit then use smaller one...

Coolman...think maybe you using the wrong drill bit size, and am assuming that while trying the first few times, you didn't grab the car properly or you didn't realise the 'power' of the drill ....

I advise maybe invest in newer drill, or buy smaller drill bit size like for example 2.8mm - 3mm is good enough. I just use both this size, first the smaller 2.8mm to make a slight hole, deep enough so the bigger 3mm can sit nicely into the drilled hole. Once practised & perfected - you'll notice it doesn't take too much time nor energy

...regards to the EVO police car, think the aerial should be the taller ones right ...maybe cut a little from those paperclips to have the silver effect, the sirens could be mounted slightly to the front - not at middle of roof ...kudos and keep it up!!

hey coolman, try looking for those pirated china cheap cars diecast at tesco...that should help.. i saw a couple with police sirens. don't waste your tomica's. they are expensive.

Ha ha ha, you are right, Tomica is expensive all the time and i don't dare to damage them just because of the siren.
I also notice those cheap diecast selling at Tesco, but those siren is not the type that i am looking for.
I have found a really nice one at Jaya Jusco,but the only thing is they come in a 5 in 1 pack, and there is only one police have the nice siren.....i still can't decide want to buy it or not,the pack is selling at RM16.90.
