elgee 0 Posted August 18, 2009 This year Hot Wheels released the Nissan GT-R casting into the market under their New Models/Premiere line. This release is a few months after their Japanese rivals, Tomica made their releases in the form of 3 castings:Tomica RegularTomica GT-R RacingTomica LimitedNot to be outdone, Maisto has even tied up with EA Games' NFS franchise to produce this casting:GT-R PoliceUsually after the successful premiere, real life cars get produced in a different line next year. Good examples are the Nissan Skyline, Corvette C6R, Honda Civic, Mercedes CLK-DTM. The GT-R will definitely be reproduced again, but my question is what would you like to see it be reproduced with? Here are some ideas I hope Mattel will consider:GT-R Street VersionGT-R Japan GT (Race Track) VersionGT-R Rally VersionGT-R Need For Speed VersionWhat is your favourite for the next GT-R release livery? Vote and discuss! If you vote for others, do feel free to post up other pictures of GT-R that you have seen and want Mattel to produce! :gathering:
jhc7598 0 Posted August 18, 2009 from all of them, i love the maisto's Need for speed undercover version.. for me, it's the best resemble the GTRs.. a bit dissapointed in HWs version, and for me, the TL version quite good.. dunno, it's just my humble opinion.. sinclair 0 Posted August 18, 2009 I voted for race track version coz it is something different. But IMO it is unlikely that Mattel will change the casting for that basic car. Just look at the R32 casting over so many years - still the same.
jhc7598 0 Posted August 18, 2009 agree with sinclair.. maybe gtr will be same like r32..

chee keng hong 0 Posted August 18, 2009 Me..prefer the Tomica GT-R racing..compare to the Hw. Think mattel should have upgrade the detaling on the body ..to make it more appeal and rugged look!
netmatrix 0 Posted August 18, 2009 I love this car in real for its technology, and ability on road. But do you believe me that i only have the red HW version only? I'm actually waiting to land a much bigger model for this car. Not 1:1 obviously!!
