There was a comment earlier on about doing the bike brown, which was met with some "difference of opinion" I'll put a few pics of my Dads bike on shortly, it's brown, and see what people think. pugeyed 0 Posted February 8, 2011 cant resist putting more pics up lol so here is a pic of my stainless clutch cable adjuster, came in the post today, good old ebay.only other thing i did today was order my 45t rear sprocket and clean up the sprocket carrier and replace the bearing.just need to pack it full of grease and put the dust seal back.waiting for me chain and sprockets to turn up really.Mark. pugeyed 0 Posted February 14, 2011 right well update time but no pics im afraid.dropping my tank , front mudguard, and side panels off to be painted 2morrow so should be back in a week or two im hoping.then i can order my speedo and she is more or less finished.still waiting for dog bones to turn up, polishers should be done with them 2morrow so hopefully get them by the end of the week.then i can tell if i can use my rear shock, otherwise might have to swap it.oh and bought this at the weekend too.told myself i wouldent start it till the bandit was finished but i couldent resist.anyone know where you can get kwak pars online (like robinsons?)Ta Mark. pugeyed 0 Posted February 18, 2011 Well stainless dog bones turned up today and confired my worst nightmare.shock doesnt fit as the reservoir hits the brace on the swingarm, so had to take the back end all apart again 2nite.gsxr shock on ebay and looking for a 1200 one or one with a remote reservoir.these things are sent to try us Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

pugeyed 0 Posted February 21, 2011 well sold the gsxr shock and been looking at different shocks on evil bay.ended up going for a hayabusa shock, the reservoir is at a completly different angle to the gsxr one so im hoping it will fit.if not ill sell it and go for a 1200 one.more pics soon when my parts come back from paint.......... pugeyed 0 Posted March 3, 2011 cheers boyz!update time! speedo arrived today! so mounted it up and connected up a few wires, still more wiring to do.gotta sort out a speedo sensor mountnew dog bones arrived from kickstart so finally got her on 2 wheels again.could do with a 10mm taking off the dog bones but will sort that out when she is back on the road.fitted my stainless headers with new gaskets and stainless bolts.oh and tapered stainless engine case bolts came today too.here are some pics (sorry bout the quality digital slr is playing up)still waiting on my tank and stuff to come back from paint :curse:stuff still to do, buy horn and wire up.re-route throttle cables and cut down bar on right hand side , mount bar end mirrorget some oilcheck tyre pressuressort out a carbon tank padbleed brakes (waiting for the stig to sort me out a rear reservoir)Cheers Mark.
