I'm a presenter on bikerfm have been riding bikes for 35 years and am currently restoring an old Honda VF750F.Two and a half years back, I lost my lower right leg in an accident and have been off bikes for that time. It's taken that long for me to get the strength & confidence back to tackle riding, but I reckon I'm ready now!The BIKERfm thing came as a result of wanting to connect with bikers again. I've always had a large music collection & have always been OK with talking to myself (lol).Anyway, look forward to joining in with this lot.Ride free guys & gals! Grumpyowl 0 Posted January 12, 2011 welcomefor what its worth Glen my father had his right leg amputated 1980, he was in his 50's they only left 9" stump just enough for him to be fitted wiyh a false leg.He lived or 24 years after the amputation and after some hard times he got on great not a lot he couldn't do.
