Davehutch-hutchs 0 Posted September 11, 2011 Think by the end of this year i will be looking for a new bike , I have never had a bran new one and want to do it before i get to old , Think I will have some where between 8k & 10 k to spend, last year i would have gone for the speed triple , but not so sure on the new model , So going to wait till I have saved the money , then will make my mind up then , But nothing to stop me looking around and getting some ideas now, Dont think I sports bike is my thing but want some thing that puts a smile on my face like the Mk 1 1200 bandit ( by the way I wont be chopping this in ) Any way what would you go for if given the chance ? smilinjack 0 Posted September 11, 2011 At that money Dave it's a Z1000SX in lime green every day of the week. If your passenger requirements aren't that great, Aprilia Tuono but beware of spares & servicing. Go & see Steve at Leicester Kawasaki & arrange a test ride. Ya bastid

darkember 0 Posted September 11, 2011 If your into speed/street tripple style then the 990 KTM Duke Rhttp://www.ktm.com/gb/naked-bike/990-super-duke-r-ausuk.htmlIm my view u should test ride a Vtwin before u decide on an IL4 or IL3. The vibrations are far more agreeable & the KTM is a storming machine.

Good idea ?
Kenb 0 Posted September 11, 2011 Don't spend your money when there is plenty of ZERO% deals around £99 down pay over 36 months. You get a new bike without using your cash. Invest your cash, get some interest (just a little) and the deal gets even cheaper!

2wheels 0 Posted September 11, 2011 Dunno about prices but I'd be looking at something like a BMW gs1200 or whatever they're called. But with having a great allrounder (the b12) it's hard to find something different enough without thinking sportsbike or supermoto or similar and your too old for them! Lol

ZZR1400 is easily the best one says my mate Steve who's had them all. However, long, heavy and still puts a good deal of weight on the wrists. Not part of Dave's brief IMHO. Imagine for a moment Dave- your B12 goes down the gym, loses some flabby bits and builds up the tone & muscle where required. Add in stonking brakes and it would be a Z1000SX! streetmoto 0 Posted September 11, 2011 I love the look of the Twin Tuono and the new Speed Triple, but the Z1000SX is really nice and looks perfect for large distances.
vandernator 0 Posted September 12, 2011 Im pretty sure that you might still be able to get an un registerd old style speed triple(round lights) of thats what you're heart was set on. And it's a triumph so
