Dave and Bec live near me (Gold Coast) and
run at the same dragstrip, Willowbank.
I think its a pretty accurate review from
someone who doesnt own one / isnt paid by Suzuki.

I love the Busa/B-King's Engine, Forks, Wheels, Brakes etc.

Not a fan of their Pig Ugly looks.

Always liked the old Z1100R and later ZRX11/1200's looks.

Mmmmmmmmm......

Kawabusa !

Now, I'm going to bare my soul and if you lot laugh and take the censored I'm going to huff....

This is what I really, really want.

Triton

Mine MUST have a manx frame, slightly slimmer than a slimline. 650 pre unit. Swept backs. Conical rear hub and 4 leading shoe front drum the size of a bin lid. Short Roadholders with the exposed springs. Manx style tank. I could go on all night. Oh and I want to build it myself, blar you get the picture, sigh. Can't find the smiley for orgasmic, perhaps a new one is needed for moments like this, Dave???

Awww that's very sweet of you Dave, your obviously a gentlman Embarassed With all the talk of twin turbo, nitrous injected Busa's I thought everybody would laugh at my 55hp home made hybrid. I've always wanted one and rue the day I turned one down for £650 as I thought the seller was a cheeky hippy bugger. He reckoned he could beat me on my CBX shake finger Have you seen the ridiculous money people are asking for them nowadays? affraid

I know what I would like for my next bike, ZZR1400. Love the look and size of them. Was looking at a GSX1400 or XJR1300, but fancy a faired bike and saw the ZZR I love you , then saw the price Sad . Keep debating about changing, then found out a lad is looking to sell his blackbird (the carburettor rather than injection version so it's still fast Laughing ) so may do a swap or similar. If I do will let everyone know. thumbs

Nothing wrong with Triton's
A bit of UK bike history.... thumbs
One of the original "streetfighters"

I remember many years a go, the guy that put the
Rover V8 3500cc into the Norton frame, without cutting the frame!
Several mod's to the motor though.

Always thought that would be REAL entertaining!!... Laughing

xjr eh? not as heavy as some of the opposition or indeed the xj900, you could pull trees out with one of those. Long running model and an owners site.
funny how that one in the pic stands up on its own Surprised (just joking), incidentally tony I think that might be one of our daughters Smile

I like the XJR.... thumbs

Of the retro styled bikes, the ZRX or GSX14
would be higher on my list but they are both
discontinued models out here.

The XJR is the last of the true big bore air-cooled,
twin shock brutes.... thumbs

Been looking at GSX14's for years.
Ridden lots but never owned one.

One of our guys "Ben Shaw" has built a few,
one had Radial braked Busa front end and a
fat rear. Needs less "bling" but I like it.

Yeah, Ben's done a few GSX14's.

The Busa forks are really too short.
He gets around this by making top yolks with
a step in them.

Lets you drop the forks down through the bottom yolk,
and the top yolk steps down to hold them.

Quite strong and work well.

Not sure but im thinking its one of the later GSXR one's.

I know there's one that fits straight onto
the earlier non-radial front end 99-07 too.

Its been done quite a few times and i've seen
all the info on one of the Hayabusa forums.
