What do you fancy next ?

Should get a few different answers!

Not silly dream bikes but what do you see
as your next bike ?

If you are 100% happy with what your on,
imagine its stolen or written off and you
have the cheque in your hand...

I fancy a Gen2 Hayabusa, the B-Kings Baby brother.

or

Something to take the Mrs pillion on,
maybe a clean low mileage GSX1400.

or

A dragbike. I've raced at the drags for MANY
years but always as a ride-in streetbike.
Always fancied a trailered real-deal racebike.

I'd maybe look at a BKing to go with my gen2 Busa
But not sure I could live with the BUTT ugly looks or that Detuned motor....

I wouldn't say "no" to another project bike,
so although not desperate there's always a
list of things I keep my eye out for with
the idea of building/restoring something.

An 1100 Katana with an oilcooled 1200 Bandit motor
and modern running gear.

or

A Z650 with a Gpz750 turbo motor
and modern running gear.

or

An original unfaired / twin shock CBX1000
(in red) or a Z1300 in black.

or

An original Z1100R Eddie Lawson Rep.

or

Kwak Z1R-TC

TRANSFORMER 1340 SUZUKI B KING

Suzuki B King the fastest naked production motorcycle in the world, it has the Busa engine, but has been tuned for more torque and acceleration, 0 -60 2seconds, 0-100 5 seconds, only 1 second slower to 100mph than a multi million pound Formula 1 race car. it can out accelerate the new 09 V Max, 09 Busa, and 09 ZZR1400 ABS, it has a top speed of 160mph, its in as new...

Dave, like most of us i don't have the skills or the danglies to ride it anywhere near its capabilities.
i'm too old too fat and had too many near misses in the past to do it now.

but having that grunt and listening to that induction roar from the airbox is addictive and for me now its enough to have a blast when its ok to do so but its soooo nice to know youve got it and nowt to prove.. Jim thumbs

PS and in the pub well its the fastest production bike in the world (aint it mr kawasaki)

B-King has zero competition,
because its the only bike in its class.

A big bore, 4-pot naked with sports bike suspension and tyres.

V-Max/V-Rod/Rocket111 are nothing like.
(Shafts/belts and funny size tyres)

All the big retro's GSX14/XJR/CB13/ZRX
are low tech and lack the top end.

The sportsbased naked like the CB1000F/R
FZ1/Hornet etc either are castrated or lack grunt.

Closest is the BMW K13R but its funny front end
and shaft drive rule it out.

B-King, no competition really... thumbs

No, not yet. Would like too though.
Looks good and most reports say it go's well.

I find it hard to imaging that the B-Kings
extra 300cc wouldnt be noticable ?

Seen a stock, out of the crate B-King, in full road trim,
with a rider who'd not been on one before,
running in the very high 9's at the strip.
The Z1000's around here can't do that.

Its not all about power, and speed. I'd rather have a nice torquey thumping V-twin over a fast powerful bike any day =] If you get a chance to ride a zed, go for it.

I do hope to ride the new Zed.
I can see its apeal and it should be more
nimble (and IS far better looking) than the King.

Different tastes.

I've ridden M109's and MT01's etc, the owners loved them,
I thought they made good lazy bikes
but had a serious lack of top-end.
For me the best of the bunch was the TL R/S.

The B-King makes close to 100 ft/lb of torque.
More than many popular "grunty" V-twin's,
it just likes a few extra rev's when doing it.

Each to their own, different tastes... thumbs

Dave and Bec live near me (Gold Coast) and
run at the same dragstrip, Willowbank.
I think its a pretty accurate review from
someone who doesnt own one / isnt paid by Suzuki.
