Well I was out in the garden tinkering about with my bikes and to be honest it sounded like moto gp loads of bikes around going far to fast.(Sounded nice)
what people need to remember is most have not riddern in a wile over the winter months and you can get a little jaded with your riding skills plus your brakes may have glazed over and not be so sharp they my need bedding in a bit.
I wonder how many even botherd checking there tire pressures and just dragged the bike out and cained the living day lights out of it............I was in my van the other day in 30mph zone out in the sticks 2 bikes came by doing well over 30 kin mad it dose nobody any good and tars us all with a bad name. moan moan Sad

Thoughts to all and their families. Seems like it's always someone we know. As Dave says above, life does go on, but the loss always hurts. I know it's cliche, but while they're in our thoughts they're still with us. Sympathies to friends and families. A sad loss, but remember the good times with a smile.

Been looking at this thread for a bit now and am going put this bluntly.

When I used to work at bike dealers years ago I used to dread this time of year. Everyone dusting their bikes off on the first few nice days of the year. We were on the pick up rota for the insurance companies. The long and the short of it was we had to go out and pick up what was left after the unthinkable had happened. Not nice and this has a lot to do with the way I ride and drive nowadays.

To moral of this story is 'RIDE SAFE OR I WILL PERSONALLY COME AND DO UNSPEAKABLE THINGS TO YOUR GRAVE' it's not down to the person who is lost, people should see the mums and dads, husbands and wives and kids left behind. I'll never forget a guy who was a customer's mum saying to me that see expected to see him walk through the door everyday. So sad... Sad Be safe

That said normal service is now restored.
