back in the day

Recommended Posts

been having a root around at my grandads and found some pictures from the late 80s early 90s when we used to go to the vintage race meets my cousin was involved with

my uncle Dave Wakeling the riders dad/chief mechanic

Deane Wakeling the rider and his dad

the bike is A 1958 Ariel Leader 250cc tuned by Deanes dad who worked at Rolls Royce at the time the machine ran on 110 octane aviation fuel

long time family friend Karl wheeldon and Nick Burton on their Triumph T110 sidecar outfit

my grandad on the left and brother Dave on the right soaking up the atmosphere

NEXT ARE A FEW RANDOM PICS INCLUDING 1 OF HOW THE ARIEL SHOULD LOOK

And the final picture every riders worst nightmare Deane was clipped by another rider sending them both down
