smilinjack 0 Posted April 23, 2012 I've got to get around to selling my Bandit 12 I know, and until my VFR goes to Spain I'm stuck for space, but if the business does OK over the next couple of months I think I should spoil myself with another cheap bike. Always wanted a big V twin, in fact I've looked at V Strom and SV1000S, but I've found myself smitten by these. What do you think gang? Sorry about the eye candy on pic

2wheels 0 Posted April 23, 2012 Is that the falco? My mate has a Millie r (low milage and full service history)and has had a fair bit of trouble to be honest. When the little things go wrong it costs ya. Battery for example £112 quid. The thing has and I mean HAS to live on an optimate. That said my mate still loves it. The bark from those things is extremely addictive

aceuggy 0 Posted April 24, 2012 Love the sound those big twins make. I had an SV650 and loved it. The 1000 is a lot of bike for not so much money and being Japanese fairly reliable too.
fr499y 0 Posted April 24, 2012 aprilia/ktm/husky are bound to cost a lot on parts and require a lot more maintenance. The SV is a cracking bike, even the 650's are a right laugh to ride with plenty of power for every day hooning around. Honda SP2 is a good bike but nothing on the TL/SV imo
