Making templets to vinyl wrap my tank

ordered some vinyl wrap to do my tank before i scratch it , So thought i would make some templates ready for when it comes,

Looks ok mate. Don't think you need to worry too much with the piece near the filler cap. I'd just bother with the bits near your knee's

Easy to fit Dave, just use plenty of soapy water , take your time , however if you do mess up it is very forgiving stuff, just take off and reapply.

It's the easy way out Just think of the satisfaction you'll have when you've cut and trimmed that vinyl to your own custom shape that no one else will have. It'll start to make that common looking bike of yours a bit more unique

good idea to stop chips etc, if you use tank bag its an idea. personally i get bored of colours, as soon as my paint gets tatty it will be a different colour, again!

I think it was more "had been drinking"

New cover looks a good fit . Have to agree with Stue, looks better than I thought it might. I find that alot of the tank covers I see don't quite fit right. Good job mate
