If you could please pray for me to find another job and that God's will be done.... Heleadsme 0 Posted July 9, 2009 Hello Chica, First...tell me...what kind of doggy is that you got there? I"m thinking of getting a new one as my old faithful dog passed away this last April. Ok, moving on to your request...a testimony to share... I recently had applied for a job that I was encouraged to apply for...I probably wouldn't have applied otherwise as to me is one of those jobs that is out of my reach...(has good benefits, pay and hours) I fretted after putting in that application...I just didn't know if the job was a good fit for me or not. But the Lord reminded me of a past job interview...(this could get detailed here hold on...) Where on my way there...I realized I had not even prayed about the job!!! So I prayed that God would be in control. When I went for that interview...there on the desk of the man interviewing me was a sign that said, "God is in control."! SO in essence...the Lord once again was telling me...that He was in control! I didn't get this most recent job???? But going after it and all that, seemed to get me on the path as well as if I were hired...the Lord led me through a process of elimination! (He does this often with me) He tells me not to be afraid...to step out anyway in what I believe is Him and if it's not for me He will surely let me know. I felt to share all of that... And feel the jest of all my blabbing on is to let you know... that... GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!! He's got you!!!!! Father I do pray and ask...that you would show this one of yours, from which direction she can expect to find your provision!!!! Lord lead her by Your Spirit!!!! It is her desire to be on the path You have for her Lord...it is her desire...grant her such desires of her heart and Lord I know she will be so happy to know she is in Your will....thank you Abba...we love you...in Jesus name I pray, amen! chica4christ 0 Posted July 10, 2009 Well currently I do amin work but the JOB that I'm REALLY REALLY interested in is working with middle school students in which I would be the liason between the parents, students and school because of the language barrier. I would be the one to help translate from Spanish to English. Its a program director position. So who knows... I'm applying for other jobs too but my heart and desire would be to get this job. I'm just like bla.....I dont want to move back to Houston either So can everyone just pray that i would have incentive and God would direct me in the right path. thanks!!! Heleadsme 0 Posted July 15, 2009 I was like that before with seeking a job...just didn't want to do it and even when someone called me for a job interview...I didn't want to go...so I didn't!!! Months later this strong desire came to work at the place that had called me for that interview...I contacted the manager and said I was again interested. She said there were no openings available. I KNEW either an opening would come up or they would create one...sure enough...one day later I was called for an interview and hired! Father I just pray that you so strongly lead her as to what you are wanting for her in her life...open doors that you want open Lord, and shut doors you want shut...in Christ Jesus name I pray amen! Heleadsme 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Your welcome! Sometimes the way the Lord is leading us just doesn't make sense to us! One time the Lord was leading me to QUIT a job when actually we needed more money! I thought he wanted me to quit and find a better paying job...so had went out and applied for this really great job...I was called for an interview and knew it went well. Well the Lord then had me retract my application...I was like, say what?!?!?! But I did call and retract my application...and the woman said the job would of been mine...I was like...about feeliing totally nuts by that time and my husband thought I lost my mind too! After retracting the job application and then also quitting the job I currently had...the Lord woke me the next morning with the phrase, "The Master's Catch." I typed the words into a search engine and found a teaching on how the disciple was confused by Jesus telling him to cast his net on the other side, but look what happened! His net was so full of fish!!! That gave me confirmation I had heard right. A series of events followed which also confirmed I had heard right. I say all of this to say....sometimes the way the Lord is leading us doesn't make sense to us...for some reason I was to share this with you... God bless!
