I'm being lazy, I ought to be getting ready to go to the hairdresser Infact I think I'll just make a cup of coffee and then I really must get myself sorted out. I'm having a cut, colour and blowdry, yay. Oh and I have to think about our meal tonight, as our younger daughter is coming to eat with us. Is little piggy still coughing?

I think it depends very much on how much you're 'out there' and how much you're in to trading. I've met very many angels who've gifted things they bought early on in the game, or traded for - and when it was far harder going too. I've only encountered a couple of dubious characters or cheaters, and yes, they just got deleted from my account. Since the original big hacks and with the changes in the game, I just don't feel the same compulsion with PS, I do maybe a quarter of visits I could each day (if that) and just buy what I really want - for me now the pleasure is in random gifting and I expect nothing back apart from knowing it gave someone else pleasure. Surprises are the fun of it, not the status of the item. I think it really is true that if you can have everything easily, the fun goes out of it, and my interest in the game is the people I've met through it. And I also think it's important to remember that Cblu's right in that Playfish is a business, not a charity - one way or another we're their customers, and their main interest is trying to keep as many of us as possible, to generate revenue as much as they can, pay their staff and make some profit (eventually) After all, it's perfectly possible to play without spending real money if you want to, the choice is there. PS if I was part of the PS team, every time an item was hacked I'd immediately put it on sale in store for just 10 coins, if people knew that was going to happen, they wouldn't buy from the hackers and it'd cease to be a worthwhile exercise. It'd take a while for people to go back to buying cash shop items, but it would recover and be a stronger product. (maybe it wouldn't be seen as fair on cc shop customers, but knowing about the scale of hacking, you always run the risk of those items not being exclusive anyway)

I've told you before BG, my hair harbours lifetime plans for total world domination - it has to be tamed, or we'll all suffer for it. Come to think of it have you heard of that cloud of volcanic ash that's come from Iceland today? it's caused hundreds of flights to be grounded across the UK today - my hair could've held that back and kept the airspace clear...I tell ya!

Congratulations to your parents - 40 years is their Ruby anniversary, how lovely. People do ask how you could decide so young to be with someone for the rest of your life? but I just say, you know, with every ounce of your fibre and being - and so why pass a good thing by, whatever age you are? The same way I never understand our girls when they have 'just for now' relationships...I'm probably not so much in touch with 'reality' - have been very lucky I guess. Must leave you for dinner now sweet pea... x

Good luck to Mum BG. No worries about the thread, it merely points to Lea's thread in the main forum, incase anyone was in the dark. ED went by train, had a room at the Radisson Edwardian, which she probably didn't even see for more than a couple of hours! and said the MCFC players were 'great fun' Westlife performed (don't envy her that at all)

sorry about the leg. Am not being mean BG, just feel bad if I don't read the posts correctly iyswim? It's a repeat anyway Wish. We have 4.30-6.30 as our quiet sit down time. We're having homemade pie tonight for dinner, the chicken and bacon with leeks, in a tarragon and white wine sauce. Just got to add the pastry tops and bake them, plus steam a few veg...so easy meal tonight. YD's coming home for dinner tomorrow, this is very left field, can't help wondering what's behind that?

EEEK! you know what, perhaps it'd be helpful for us short sighted folks if you guys could do your avvies and siggies in reverse colours or something? I have to concentrate really hard to distinguish you from the other. Kijo, how did you get on yesterday? I kept meaning to FB message you, but I had a bit of an accident yesterday (I typed about it to Army just before) Leo, not sure I understand that, sorry?
