  4. fair point i guess. although surely by the time you're 17 you've been exposed to enough flashing lights at least as bright as a cyclists? and could therefore determine if you were epileptic before you started driving.
  5. thank god for that. what a complete and utter load of bollocks that new test was. glad I never had to do it myself! itchy, if I understand correctly, the reason we had offroad test centres is because we joined some EU regulations whereby certain manouveres (such as the emergency stop) had to be tested at something like 50kph (cos its european) which translated in to something like 31 or 32mph (something we didnt realise until after we'd agreed to take part. Obviously these manouvers couldnt be done on our roads since our speed limit is 30mph. hence the building of the offroad centres. this is what i remember reading anyway. please put me straight if im wrong. anyway, im glad to see the back of it
  6. bit much if you ask me. if I want to fit brighter lights to my car bike to allow me to see better in the dark then I will. however if you then wanted to drag me out/off my car/bike because I had left my high beam on then fair enough.
  7. the video certainly makes ya think doesnt it very difficult about the speeding though. how many points you have on your license doesnt say anything amount how many times you've been speeding, only how many times you've been caught. im no angel, like most drivers on the road but I can honestly say I've slowed down in the 30s and 40s in the last year and feel much better for it
  8. as advertised in this months sf mag i think. they're pretty neat and theres a few similar ones on the market. would love to get one at some point but they aint cheap
