bike all sorted now set the pilot screws all the same and ballanced the carbs they were all over on the place runs like a dream now -
dont b 2 quick 2 judge theres so many reasons people take drugs but the ultimate price is the loss of life .................................... RIP sad loss -

not three turns out on yours if it is a mark1 1200 Bandit, lightly screw the Pilot jet in till it seats then screw out 1 3/4 turns, then balance the carbs to get the optimum set up. yes it is a mk1 so its only 1 n 3/4 turns just to clarify thats all 4 carbs -

my next question is is it best to take carbs of and adjust the pilots then refit cos i have tried to adjust in situ and it seems to easy to chew the screw head up so i bottled it any advice much appreciated... -

nice post thats exactly what appens on my b12 so let me see i have read this right turns the screws in until seated then back off 3 turns ?? -
not many there cos its shit i live near by and avoid the place £1.10 for a pot of piss warm tea no thanks -
i have been a bricky for 20+yrs but at the moment iam a roro driver (roll on roll off ) skips and loving it nice and warm with radio 2 on all day -

just got back in from a couple of hours out on the bike weather good here in leeds day off work went to see a pal in bradford had a brew and a chat like you do on the way home decided to have a toby around went no where and every where you know the feeling i wonder were this road goes sort of thing any way needless to say i have had a great old couple of hours doing nothing but riding my bike you cant beat the sound of twin disturbing the peace in unfamiliar surroundings man and machine in perfect harmony its good just to get out on 2 wheels days like this i love ......

loving it jus always prefered twins they involve you more the rf was a good bike but this is so much better iam aving another mid life crisis again -
