Glad you're enjoying the bike Just out of curiosity, you say the riding position is more cramped than the Bandit, but easier to ride over long distance? Given I may be selling the B12 next year I was looking at possibly getting a TL. Don't know how tall you are, but I'm 6'2" so do you think it would be comfortable for me? -

Understand where you're coming from mate, did it for 2 months when I got made redundant. It's great at first but eventually you get sick of sitting around doing nothing and not thinking, you're brain turns to mush and you start doing less and less. For the sake of my brain I had to get a job. Like the rest of us on here Dave, you've got too much self respect to sit and leech off others!

If you've paid all your stamp etc, you should be able to get Statutory Sick Pay paid from the DHSS/DSS/DWP (whatever thay call themselves now). You'll lose the first 3 days and it's only about £70 a week (I think) but it's better in your pocket. I'll ask my Mam, she works in the DHSS/DSS/DWP (but she is human). It'll be Saturday as she's away for the next few days. Will let you know

Still waiting to hear what happens with my pension. Would be nice if someone had bailed mine out at "cost no option". The girlfriend has the kids off today. Fortunately she isn't working at the moment but is at college studying (on a night) so not much problem. But what about the people that work and can't today? Personally, it's just ignorance on the part of the unions and a lack of understanding about the current reality.

Such loyalty to employees. I CAN SACK YOU.
BanditMike replied to Kenb's topic in The Pub "Tinker and Budget"
The legislation needs changing. I've seen it to often, poor staff still employed because it's too difficult and expensive for the employer to get rid of them. And when they do get rid, the employee just goes to an ET as they know it won't cost them anything but the employer still has to pay! Maybe if the unions were doing their jobs rather than striking for unrealistic pay and conditions and the union bosses drawing 6 figure salaries it wouldn't have ended up like this? -
take a look at this v12 super work
