Most people drink alcohol because it makes them feel better, perhaps he doesn't feel fulfilled in some areas in his life so he drinks to make himself feel better or perhaps that is his way of dealing with stresses in life. Perhaps you can pick out a pattern to his drinking to find out the cause of it. Does he drink immediately after work? If so that could be the way he unwinds or relax and if that is the case getting him involved in activities that will help him to unwind safely may help. For e.g find out his hobbies for e.g gardening, or introduce him to new ones. Some people also have gotten so use to drinking that they simply find it extremely hard to stop.

One of the things that I have been learning is that whenever I have a dream I must wait for God to confirm if the dream is from him because not all the dreams we have are from God. Many times I have had dreams and I have always not like to ask God if it is from him because I was afraid that he would not answer me or wanted to answer me. For the first time not too long ago God confirmed that he gave me a particular dream and he used the word of God to do that. I can only remember one other dream I had where God confirmed to me personally that it was from him and it had to do with me not listening to something he told me and the consequences if I didn't listen.

Can anybody help me to understand about the children of the resurrection referred to in Luke 20 verses 27-36: [27] Then came to him certain of the Sadducees, which deny that there is any resurrection; and they asked him, [28] Saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, If any man's brother die, having a wife, and he die without children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. [29] There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died without children. [30] And the second took her to wife, and he died childless. [31] And the third took her; and in like manner the seven also: and they left no children, and died. [32] Last of all the woman died also. [33] Therefore in the resurrection whose wife of them is she? for seven had her to wife. [34] And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: [35] But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: [36] Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
