As I read your prayer request, I feel like God is telling me to give you what He gave me.
I was in a week long court case with my cousin a few months back. One day as I was praying that the enemy be exposed for the lies, trickery, deceit, and injustice that had been plotted, I told God that I didn’t want to just be praying…I wanted scripture to stand on and this is what He gave me…

Psalms 64 – KJV
1 Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:
4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?
6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

We command him to the feet of Jesus now and render him mute and useless.

I can't speak for anyone else but I worship God in all that I do. (Well, I try to anyway). Everything I do, I try to do it as unto the Lord. I worship Him in my giving, time, talent, gift, praise, song, dance, exhalting him, magnifying His name, raising my children in His ways, prayer, reading/meditating on His word...

Ok...we know depression is a spirit and it's not of God. The devil is a liar! So we curse that spirit right now in the name of Jesus. I can say that it IS good that you recognize what’s going on and the possible result it can bring. DON’T ALLOW IT TO HAPPEN! We will be tried and tested…that’s a given. But I honestly think we have a say-so (even if it’s slight) in how long we stay in because of our reaction or lack thereof.

For me, the waiting is an “it’s on the way sign”. It’s what I DO during the wait is what’s going to make all the difference. Just as in the natural during testing time, the teacher doesn’t speak. He/she has taught and given you all the material you need to pass the test and has given you a set time to take it. He/she waits for you to take to the test then gives you a grade on what you’ve retained and what you’re able to apply according to the answers given.

The same with God. I honestly believe in my heart that when we are in these waiting seasons for answers to our prayers, God is testing us on what He’s provided for us. There is something attached to the prayers you’re waiting on to be answered. There is something you didn’t do when you felt like this before and depression set in. Don’t allow depression to set in by NOT doing it again.

I think you stopped believing the first time. You stopped hoping. When there’s no hope, there’s nothing. Don’t give up. You have to press your way through. Don’t look to the left. Don’t look to the right. No matter what it looks like, feels like, taste like, smell like, and sounds like it’s hallelujah. When you don’t understand…its hallelujah. In the midst of your storm…it’s hallelujah. The highest praise is still hallelujah. Those are words to a song God gave me in October after a trial.

Dig deep mj and find the weapon(s) God has equipped you with to get through this waiting season. You have it. Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen. Find YOUR substance mj. Don’t give up the fight.

I am so glad your post reminded of the word from the Lord you gave me. I found it. It was on August 10, 2009 and it speaks VOLUME even to this day…especially with these . I have to admit I didn’t quite understand all of it at the time but I do now.

You could’ve addressed the “situation” like you started to and like I wanted you to but you didn’t. You followed what God placed in your heart and I thank you.

From the moment I received the words/testimonies from a_ehat and Mia this morning, the enemy started with me! I'm sitting here wondering where these came from all of a sudden and then it hit me. All of this came about as soon as I received/responded to their words/testimonies! INCLUDING being reminded of the word from the Lord Cholette gave me last year...well in 2009.

I found it. It's under "Prophetic Words". Then "Divine Revelations". Then the "Law and grace vs curses and blessings" thread.

I read it again. It's 4 pages long! We went deep! Your scripture references are about grace. They don't mention anything about we are not to tithe. The discussion was great! We played nice.

Sweetie, I didn’t mean to make it sound like I felt as if you are using grace as an excuse to sin. I completely understand what you’re saying ABOUT grace as far as what it does for us as a result of Jesus dying on the cross.

i have forced myself to be still and not try to fix anything, and most of all, i force myself to have faith everyday that God is able to do this without me.

This man is a knight in shining armor. Ruth was out in the field gleaning. I know she must’ve been looking a hot mess. I always picture her in huge sweats, boots, and a head rag. Of all those gleaners, he noticed her and inquired about her. He told the harvesters to leave her some “ON PURPOSE”(she’s getting the good stuff now). He told her NOT to go to any other field to glean but to always come to his fields. When he wanted to marry her, he did things in order…

…look at me. Going on into the story like yall don’t know it but I get excited about Boaz. But I HAVE got to tell my favorite part. It’s when Ruth did as Naomi told her to do about sleeping at his feet. He had her to get up and leave before anyone saw her because he didn’t want anyone thinking wrongly about her. He had her best interest at heart. He is the perfect gentleman. Did I mention RICH?!

I think Ruth’s obedience unlocked doors for her. She did EVERYTHING Naomi told her to do.

I’m so excited for you. You and Cholette have blessed and encouraged me with your dreams and testimonies of your mates coming forth. It would really be something if we all sent out invitations around the same time.
