I just HAVE to share how good God is with you all. I know you all know Prophetess Juanita Bynum, right? I know you all know about what she went through with her now ex-husband. Well, during the time she was going through it, my thoughts were, "She is going to be so powerful when she gets out of this".

I prayed for a long time, when I thought about her, asking God to allow me to sit under her when she came out. I told God I just knew there would be a greater anointing on her life when she came out and I wanted to sit under that anointing.

She was in Dothan, Alabama last week and I was able to go sit under that anointing! Oh, my God, I had an awesome time in the Lord. I had my eyes closed when I heard everybody clapping. When I opened my eyes, she was standing behind a table getting ready to speak. All I could do was cry and give God thanks because that night is what I had prayed for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've always loved Prophetess Bynum. I have a few of her books and teaching cd's that have blessed me throughout the years. It was such an honor to actually sit under the anointing as the word of God came forth!

I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I promise you I do! DISAPPOINTED & HURT is how I would always feel. Every time a situation where I thought he was coming 2 church because he said he would but he never showed it would crush my spirit. Like you, I wanted 2 give up.

One day after a situaion came up and I was feeling disappointed, God asked, "Do you want him saved for you because you want 2 marry him or do you want him saved for me because I love him?" THAT was a real eye-opener for me.

You see, I had to check my motives. Just in case you're wondering, I had to admit my fault and I answered God, "Yes, Lord. Please forgive me." I didn't realize I was doing that but I had been praying a selfish prayer for his salvation. I told God to give me a prayer & a scripture for him because I want to pray His wll for his life. I know this man is an assignment for me but I don't want me to get in the way with what God wants to do in his life. God gave me a specific prayer & scripture for him & that's ALL I pray for him...nothing else.

I'm not saying you're doing what I did, but my experience came up in my spirit as I read ur post. It got stronger when I reached where you said you told God "I can still believe for him to come to you, but I think I have to give up the hope that he is the one meant for me." I can't even count the number of times I've said this.

Be encouraged and know IT DOES GET BETTER...TRUST ME, I KNOW! I can say JOY IS HERE BECAUSE THE MORNING HAS COME! I'M IN BETTER DAYS!!! He's still not saved but because I only pray what God told/tells me to pray for him I don't get disappointed & I let God be God whether we're meant to be together or not. God has promised me a husband & rest in that & keep moving forward with MY walk, MY relationshi with Him! Amen?

This is my first time seeing this thread. I've had cheating dreams about guys I've dated and they were all literal. The thing about it is, if I didn't know who the woman was in the dream, I actually knew her IRL; but if I knew her in the dream, I actually didn't know her IRL. It was that way each time except for once...

Tell God on your husband. And I mean you tell Him everything.

These spouses who are not honoring God's word in these marriages are going to have to LINE UP!

He has done things like this for me A LOT.

One time it was a sausage biscuit from Hardees. I got to work and one of my co-workers brought me one to my desk.

One time it was Krispy Kreme donuts I wanted. I got to work and there were fresh Krispy Kreme donuts in the break room for everyone.

One time it was a tire I needed. I went to purchase a tire (with money I HAD to borrow from my mom that I knew she needed for herself) and a friend of mine was there. He asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told him I needed a tire. He bought the tire and I was able to give my mom back her money.

One time I needed gas and I was down to my last. I put the gas in my car and went inside to pay. This guy (I have no clue as to who he was) told me he wanted to pay for my gas.

One time I was in the dollar store purchasing household supplies and this guy (I have no clue who he was) told the cashier to add his stuff in with my total and he would pay for mine with his.

I can go on and on on how God supplies my (our) everyday needs EVEN without asking Him to!

There were no scriptures to contend with. My whole point was to draw a scripture to back up what was being said. There is no scripture to back up what is being said. I could only find that everything that is being said in this thread points to mediums/psychics/witchcraft which is why the links were posted. They backed up what I felt, the unsettling, from the very beginning. But I do understand that you want scripture references.

Now there is plenty of scriptures standing against these. Even I Samuel speaks about it. It's found in one of the "-teen" chapters. I think it's around chapters 18 -20.

Saul was given a specific duty from the Lord. To destroy ALL of the mediums and everything else. He in turn went back to doing so after he disobeyed God and God no longer answered him. I can definately find more scripture speaking against this....

I remember hearing something about wisdom in the video link. Something just STOOD out to me as I read your post. Why is that each time you referenced "his WISDOM", you didn't capitalize/magnify "his" but with all the other references, you did? (i.e., HIS PURITY, HE, HIS children, HIM)

I feel like I used discernment when you mentioned that when you speak/pray in tongues, the tongues are that of 7 different languages and it didn’t agree with my spirit of God living on the inside of me.

There is truly so many diffrent teachings out there it makes my head spin!

This is true AND the problem. The teachings of Jesus are the only ones that are going to stand. I don’t cross reference the teachings of Jesus Christ and the word of God to any other teaching because no other teaching is relevant. There is a site that says to chant the KODOISH, KODOISH, KODOISH, ADONAI, TSEBAYOTH for protection (among other things). It says it can be used with a person’s “own special Higher Deity such as Buddha, Mohammad, Lady Isis, etc. to come to your aid”. Huh? It’s found under the Angelic Protection Technique...

Unity…yes. That we will all come into the unity of the faith – ONE FAITH, ONE BODY., ONE SPIRIT, ONE GOD. Ephesians 4 speaks about this.

I haven’t gotten into any of these researches but I find it odd that not one of the links I’ve gone to in what I have researched has led me to anything that would make me think this is truly of God.

I know and understand that the enemy has to have a “real” to duplicate a “counterfeit” in order to deceive people. He has to have a blueprint to follow. And yes many are out there who twist the word of God and try to mock or mimic for their own personal gain. So yes, we have to be careful, especially about those things that are unfamiliar and unheard of. Which is my reason for following up on this because I have to be honest and say it just did not and does not sit well in my spirit as being of God. God said even the very elect could be deceived and who better for the enemy to target than God’s people?

I searched KODOISH, KODOISH, KODOISH, ADONAI, TSEBAYOTH and it says it means Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God of Hosts. But why is it that the deeper I go into it, the further it takes me to MEDIUMS/LIGHTWORKERS?! WHICH IS WITCHCRAFT! These words AND the rest of them all lead to one thing in common…A site that has a book entitled – How to Become a Divine Medium!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope and pray it's not taken the wrong way but I don’t agree with this.

Tongues are utterances that make intercession for us, and if openly given for the church – it’s to bring a word, from God that ONLY God understands. HE brings the INTERPRETATION (in any language-if the person is French…the interpretation will be given in French – if the person is Mexican…the interpretation will be in Spanish…). But to say that when you’re speaking/praying in tongues, it is possible to write/spell the words you’re saying to look them up in the dictionary to find its meaning and those meanings reveal a person is praying in other languages is not biblical.

Tongues is a language that stands alone. I can understand if when a person is praying and realize they are speaking words they know in their spirit it is not their heavenly language but that of another, yes I can see that happening…maybe.

I guess what I’m trying to say is Tongues are to be interpreted by the Lord. The words spoken through tongues are not in the dictionary.
