Thanks for the feedback. For some reason I expected that it would increase chances of finding anything at all -- I didn't realize it just applied to finding the weekly item. Now that I know what it does, maybe I will get better results!

Ingredients:
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp dried basil
drizzle of olive oil
2 generous pinches of fresh shredded Parmesan cheese
1/3 lb. of ground beef
1 jar or 26 oz. can of tomato sauce (we use meat flavored Ragu)
1 pinch red pepper flakes

Directions:
Brown the ground beef in a small frying pan. It is important to stop cooking as soon as it looks done as the meat will continue to cook more in the sauce later and you don't want it to be overdone.

Meanwhile, crush the garlic cloves and brown them in the bottom of a medium sized sauce pan. When the garlic beings to release its aroma, pour in the tomato sauce. Bring to a low boil and then reduce to a simmer.

While sauce is simmering, drain fat from beef. Then add beef to sauce. Add all remaining ingredients. I like to taste the sauce as I add ingredients to make sure it is the right balance of flavors. If the sauce is too sweet, add more basil. If it is not salty enough, add more cheese. Be careful with the pepper flakes, only a little goes a long way.

Simmer sauce for 5 minutes, or until your pasta is ready. Then enjoy!

Mmm. Great idea. I love making my own sauces. I like to make a bechamel (same as your white sauce without the parm) and add cheddar and fontina for an amazing macaroni and cheese sauce. Cheers!

Maybe I'm crazy, but I can't actually tell that the lucky digging hat does anything at all. It seems like no difference between wearing it and not. Is it some kind of joke -- like just a normal hat with a leaf on it that I was tricked into paying cc for?

No worries. It seems strange not to include any Thanksgiving items at all. I suspected it would be a food week, and I knew it might not be Thanksgiving, but not even a banquet table with a turkey or some candied yams?

It seems the same, but with turkeys. I would like it better if racing got us cool prizes instead of just a few coins. So much easier to visit friends and pick fruit that I can't see how it's worth it.

Last night I logged in and my digging map was not there to click on. I logged back in this morning hoping to see it, but there is no option to dig anymore! Am I the only one experiencing this glitch? Anyone know how to fix it? I miss digging and I really wanted to get the spooky bed before the week ends!

Hm. The items are way to stylized this week imo. Like the concept of the Hideni costumes, as others have said, but this cash plus random method is bad. It would be more fun to match him. I would love it if we could right click on him and have an option to buy his outfit every week.

Oh, I see! It is the costume box. I was confused when I saw just the grey box icon on the list of mystery box options, and didn't recognize it from the clothing store. They should call it "costume mystery box" or something else to indicate clothing in order to be more clear.

FYI -- if anyone else thought, like I did, that you would get the locker and be able to have the stuff inside, you cannot. It is simply the locker. Too bad since I would love to use the items to decorate with, rather than the locker.
