  1. The lightning Mcqueen is this one ka? And your error pix.
  2. I think the scale is 1:62 most probably. I wonder how a small VW can be bigger than a Mustang? hahaha. The newer Audi, Lambo and such all have the bigger scale. Not that its a bad thing. But because collectors like me were collecting the range and then suddenly they decide to bloat up the size, then sort of affect the continuation. I think those Lambo, VW & Audi are nice like DUB kind of stuff. Just that it feels very off for me anyway. If people like 24" bling with candy paint, then its their thing.
  3. Nice choices. I see u like purple? See the top right of the Ridez packaging. See that metal chassis? The whole car is metal. Unlike Pro Rodz, Custom and such all are plastic chassis. hehehe
  4. This one i got from Jusco. I bought this one with a black Pontiac and the blue Mustang GT here. This one was more than 3 months ago i think. The scale is also bigger than all of the muscle cars in Maisto range. Very strange.
  5. Ohhhh its really based on a die cast store! What a find man. I think this is like the T-hunts of the transport series. hahaha. Really regret a little that i passed this up. Maybe because of the Bel Air. If it was muscle instead of vintage...... Anyway some more of my stuff i dug up when i sis some cleaning. Chevy Impala Pontiac Firebird Chevy Biscayne Karman Ghia Mustang GT Mustang notchback Anyway Custom series saw quite a few Lambo Gallardo, Muercilago, R32, R8 and such. Did not buy because the scale is bigger than 1:64. It practically dwarf everything in HW Maisto but is smaller than Siku. That is really strange. If they made it smaller i would have gotten them all.
  6. This one also i got. I think it came again in 5 pack but different color. Wow! what series is that?
  7. Wooohhhh...this is nice. I think i got see this before in Parkson early this year? Dunno why didn't buy. Just maybe.....
  8. Luckily i'm no VW fan. I really wanted that COE. Saw an EVO and another Vega transport that i did not buy. They both came with wreckers which i do not like for some reason.
  9. I stumbled upon it in Robinsons last month. But there is only 1 of each. The police car in same wave as the fire dept car. Maybe Brightzone Summit got.
  10. Found this set this week. COE flatbed with Samba Van. Why this set? Because the other sets have normal wheels that blend in the pavement. I want white walls! Found some dinosaurs and they hitched a ride. hahaha.
  11. Red Viper GTSR hard to score bebeh..
  12. I seen this quite a few places already, JUSCO & TRU especially. But the price is scary without discounts. I got one though.
  13. I like the VW workshop more than the rojak workshop.... hehehe.
  14. Long time no post Maisto stuff. This one from last 3 months till latest. 1968 Chevy Camaro Z2/28 1967 VW Notchback 1971 Chevy Camaro Z/28 1969 Pontiac Firebird 1969 Dodge Challenger R/T 1970 Chevy Nova
  15. This car is nice. I have the 40th anniversary one slightly cheaper. But price nowdays pretty steep. Although the price is the same as Maisto NFS series & Jada. Wish could be had for the old under 20 buck price.
  16. Most logical quote. Just few days ago i eat at KFC, also got GST printed on receipt. But gov say GST not start yet. I know a lot of accounting software starting to comply with GST. So is gov starting to impose GST on makan places?
  17. He is not a supplier but he is also a collector.
  18. Stamps relaxing???? No serious? hahahah! I collected stamps before. Still have a them. I think its an even worse hobby than HW cars. Many many more variations, imitations, first day covers blah blah. I find it no different than collecting money. At least with money there is a limit on how much it can be minted. But stamps are too many. Waaayyyy too many. I quit stamps just after 2 years. It accumulates too fast!
  19. Sidewall metal mesh is more flexible than the contact patch. Unless the metal mesh is broken, it is not advisable to patch. The other way is to use tyre tube inside the tubeless tire. Also cheap solution. Also the patch did last 6 months until the steel mesh broke and cut through the patch and then the tire no more use. The tyre is almost 3 years old, so not much worries there. That time i was using 13" wheels and was ready to upgrade to 14". That is why i patched. There was once i had a 6 inch rod went through the contact patch and the rod grated the sidewall from inside. I drove almost 20 km without realizing i had that rod inside and i had a flat. Needless to say went to a tyre shop nearby and changed that tyre. And the tyre is only 3 months old!!! $$$$$ ~~~~ fly~~~~~ Now don't want to buy expensive tires like Michelin or goodyear already. Buy Silverstone enough.
  20. If i were a multi million dollar company.......... DO I EVEN GIVE A DAMN?!
  21. FYI it is not easy to drill screw in tyre. Even the sidewall have wire mesh. Though not as heavy gauge as the contact patch. Actually can patch. Last time my tyre was cut by a large piece of metal on the sidewall. It cannot be patched with the usual manner. But they used a piece of tyre patch from inside. But still it did not last as the tire gave way after 6 months. It still beats having to pay few hundred for a tyre though.
