Yes, I did. I have been sewing my clothes for the last 5 or 6 years. The dress is handmade, and I'm almost done with another. Will post pictures when it is done.

The pendant was a Christmas gift from my husband in 2008, I love it. Smile

Thank you. That's very encouraging, considering that one woman in my class told me that I was too pale to wear white or light colors. Sad I was pretty angry about that. I like to wear light colors in the summer because it's cooler than darker ones.

The fabric was bought in the US when I was in Portland visiting Kokonee last year. I am certain she will recognize it straightaway.

My sewing teacher really deserves a lot of credit, she is a professional seamstress and she helped me a lot with the various projects. I love this dress though, and am going to wear it to choir rehearsal if I go on Monday.

I still have a horrific sore throat. Sad

Aw Yvette
Here's what my mom always used to give me when I've had a sore throat:
First she took 1 egg
She'd broke it and took the yolk out of it
Put the yolk in the cup
Put 4 spoons of sugar (small spoons) in the cup along with the yolk
Mix them altogether, until the result is a bright yellow sweet mixture

And you've got the most sweetest mixture in the world + it is helping your throat to feel better Smile

My mother in law actually used that egg idea to make a winter liquor from their area. Very tasty.

I think I like the tea idea with honey. I love to drink tea. Smile
