Bye Bee, you too honey Hi Leo, I've signed up to donate organs. I look at it differently - not that someone has to die for someone else to live, but that the donor has died anyway regardless - and wants to do good for someone else when they no longer have a use for their body. I can't imagine how he'll look - not like his old self, but not like his donor either, as his bone structure under the face will change the appearance of the new skin and face. If a donor hadn't gifted, he'd have been stuck as he was. I hope he continues ok though, as he has to take an enormous amount of drugs for the rest of his life.

So a whole year's costs would be covered in 7-10 weeks here. You don't have to pay to visit doctors or hospitals either if you go NHS - it's paid for in a tax from income called National Insurance Contributions - calculated according to how much you earn. Unless you pay medical insurance and choose to go privately. I have one hand done - needs another coat yet, and I have to dry my hair yet. Eek, on the news - in Spain, a man has had a full face transplant (the whole face except his eyes and tongue) It's taken a team of 30 surgeons and medical staff over a 24 hour period. The man's a farmer who accidentally blew his face apart in a gun accident 5 years ago!

It's streaking as it goes on What were you expecting? Hope you do feel better quickly. Over here if you need medication all the time, you can purchase a Season Ticket, where you just pay one fee per year, and you get all your prescriptions free at point of purchase, having paid up front - it saves people a lot of money. Of course, that's under the National Health Service. R and I have been married 30 years on Monday, so we're going out for lunch tomorrow to celebrate, and meeting the girls later (we're up to London) maybe a bit of shopping. We had hoped for a weekend away, but it hasn't worked out that way.

We occasionally used to see Pobol y Cwm, because the only Ch4 we could get was S4C. The supermarket had dual language signs over the aisles, but that was about it, apart from someone in Monmouthshire rebelling and declaring independence (totally refusing to acknowledge Gwent) My OH worked for a guy who's Welsh, he's an identical twin, and once he and his brother were chatting together, it shut everyone else out. He lives in Uruguay now mind. We also lived very close to Chester for a long time, and often ventured into north Wales. All of that said THIS IS ST GEORGE'S DAY

Ahah! I wish I'd thought on to bring my children up in Brazil Do you speak Welsh Lea? (am presuming your schools had compulsory Welsh language lessons?) My children never went to a school that taught the language, or in the language, but they can put on a cracking accent when they want to They follow rugby and ice hockey, but support England.

Would somebody please tell my daughter that she was born in Cleethorpes, NE Lincs ENGLAND I know, I was there !! can't knock you on that one Kasi! So, ok then, just what is it that makes Lea Welsh then? I'm intrigued (speaking as someone with a Welsh grandfather, who had a very Welsh surname, and having lived in Monmouthshire myself)
