Can't believe it's MAY already - but I do believe it's Jason's birthday on the 6th... Jason aka Chupacabra, Chup, SIB (sunny island boy) or occasionally CIB when it turns cloudy For anyone who has them on their list Aresha and Ayesha are the 9th and then the 11th and the lovely Dylan's Mummy, our own DM, is also the 11th!

Hi and congratulations. I used to live near Bristol and my children (25 and almost 22) both went to school on the outskirts of the city - despite now living in London and in the south east, they'd both move back to Bristol in a heartbeat, they loved it. Bristol University is very difficult to get in to and is extremely highly regarded (in the top 10 of UK universities overall, apparently) I might be out of touch, but think it has a fantastic reputation for medicine, history and law? It's a very cosmpolitan city, a massive student vibe and is also one of the major cities in the UK. It's close to both the coast and to the countryside and for transport has very good major transport links (motorways M5 north/south and M4 east. or train directly to London) The city is not far to the airport either. You'll also find a lot of history to the city, parts of which have some fabulous architecture. There's a River, which is always fantastic in a city environment, good restaurants for all prices, and it's a good venue for live bands, theatre and comedy. Looking quickly on the net, it sounds like Nottingham is highly regarded in your field (research/medicine) too, but I'm afraid I don't really know much about that. You'd have to be fairly sure of which University has the better facilities for your studies. And, I'm not sure if you'd get student halls of residence or not, but if cost of living isn't a major concern, personally, I wouldn't even think about it, I'd go for Bristol. I absolutely love where we live now (south east of England) but if I had to move back to the Bristol area, I'd be fine with that too. I wouldn't be tempted to move to Nottingham from where we live (sorry if that offends anyone) unless it was for some kind of massive offer that was too good to turn down. That's purely my own personal feelings though - and an idea from my grown children, who don't really know Nottingham any way.

OK. The bubble chair once used to be a prized item (King of the trading, yes?) and from such a special place in the game, I've now used it as a home for the chickens - aaaaw. You get me now? Nice Pedj Congrats Zoonie... i was so amused by this room that it had to win!!! LOL I will send you a fr so you can claim your prizes x Thank you very much, I didn't expect to win anything when I entered, I just read your instructions to go out of the ordinary - winning is a nice happy thing on a very wet Sunday bank holiday weekend -

New stuff is just everywhere - that's why it takes me so long to work out the weekly TWS list from just the new stuff. This week I nearly missed the Teepee and the Skull Cave (TWS) - it's a ploy that makes you scour the whole of the stores - some stuff like the toy chest and the Nana plushie, is in more than one store as well.

They were just doing an experiment with it (sorry mistyped cilantro) preparing a chicken, onion and tomato stew (a kind of curry stew) - using coriander seeds rather than the chopped herb - and the tester said it was ok. I really hate the herb uncooked - say in a salsa, it has to be a tiny touch of it, too much and my face is Talking cartoons had made me think about when we did the Flintstones themed weekend - aaaaw. Kijo hasn't managed to do the St Patrick's Day picture yet, has she?

one house we had, the garage was part of the main fabric of the house - you could enter it through the utility room. I used to get the girls in the car, ready for the school run, and use the control to put up the garage door, drive out, and remote close the door. One day our neighbour told me that her children called our family the Jetsons, because of the way we used to leave without them seeing us outside ROFL!

Oh no Frannie, is it very painful? I was distracted finishing eating (boiled eggs and roasted wlanut bread toast soldiers) and watching TV - Sunday morning talk show with guests, TV and film clips and cookery slots. One of the guests has brought her 14 week old puppy - a Yorkshire Terrier, who's just absolutely cute and gorgeous It's horrible and raining here.

Good Morning - WELCOME HOME FRANNIE! - how was your trip? We missed you. Hi Marlies, sorry I wasn't around, weekends have been busy at home lately and of course, this is bank holiday too. Glad to hear you're not too bad BG. We had great fun yesterday (NOT) the tank that collects all our waste water (everything that goes down our drains) was blocked, and had to be cleaned out. Wouldn't you know it as well, it was pouring with rain at the time - just like today. Gaaah, why do we always end up with rotten weather for bank holidays?
