  1. Army, what you have to remember, is whatever code you put before the link, in this case [img] (square bracket, code for image, or bold, or italic, or underline, whatever you use, then close the square bracket - THEN, you do exactly the same to end the code, but you have to put the slash after the first square bracket and before the code [/u] <--- like that. OK? If you don't close the code properly, none of it works.
  2. That's one heck of a shift Kijo! Glad no incidents to report lol. I had my wisdom teeth out when I was 20. I had it done at the dentist's not hospital - and after I woke up OH took me shopping for my wedding ring as a treat
  3. I'm back too - I am not best pleased with my insides today, and that's as much as I'm saying on the matter Hi Kijo, yes, I see Army you need to complete the code so your signature image will show up. How are you Kijo? I didn't get to check on you yesterday after the weekend!
  4. Ooops, reminds me, I need to be excused - will return
  5. Hey Dawn, sorry you can't chat, I want to know how the car is? I'll be fine, it's just time of the month - guess I'm one of those people who'll be calling Army bad words soon
  6. Oops sorry I forgot to look back, I'll take numbers 6 and 26 please
  7. BG, it's the way of the world I'm afraid. Gosh Army, how dreadful (and scary for your family at the same time)
  8. Seconded. At one time I did a bit of trading and was always adding new people. These days I don't have the time that I used to spend on the game and just enjoy socialising with my friends and neighbours. I'm much more laid back about it.
  9. That's how it is Army. I'd had a couple of nights not sleeping well, then rushed to get ready for friends' visit. We were busy all weekend, and Eeevil Ovary hit me on Sunday night too - didn't sleep Sunday night with a headache, and by the time Monday came it had set in. I couldn't even get up, felt dire. I might break my habit and take a nap today, ease the stomach cramps and try and refresh myself a bit. I haven't read back - congratulations in order with the bowling, Army?
  10. Oooh Lea I remember that feeling Yaaaay - enjoy!
  11. Hiya Leo. No Army. I think you have a far quicker connection than I do, and, when it's my first thing-morning time, I'm still opening everything up, answering the phone etc. We had a really nice weekend thanks, but I paid for it yesterday, was in bed all day with a migraine and today I am so sleepy I wish it was bed time already
  12. Nice work Lucky, congratulations to you
  13. Good Morning to whoever looks in
  14. Actually, I do understand Leo, because we've moved around a lot. Just going to eat now, will have to come back to you on this one
  15. Thanks BG. We say 'close to her due date' A lot of our friends we've had a long time. That said, actually we don't have loads of friends, not close friends anyway. The most long standing we were at school with, I was at school with him since age 12 and my OH was at school with his wife since junior school - how about that? We both have two daughters and they get along like the closest sisters, it's lovely - although now we're a bit far apart and don't get together as often as we'd like. I guess it's different for you, not living in the country you were raised in? I should have done a lot more tidying
  16. I'm pretty pleased, it all looks quite pretty. Am really looking forward to seeing our friends again, it's been about 18 months (they live in Cheshire and lead a really busy life with their 3 sons) We've been friends over 20 years Anyone got any special plans for the weekend?
  17. I'm back indoors, brrrr. I bought a lovely big hydrangea plant today and have planted it up in a very tall bright royal blue pot, it looks lovely I bought 6 bunches of sweet daffodils and a big bunch of long stemmed golden roses as well - flowers make me smile a lot.
  18. Gracious I completely forgot the date I set, time is just flying by, let's extend until Monday as I have friends coming to stay over the weekend - AND, it'll give any late entries a chance.
  19. Got to just nip off for a few chores.
  20. Now on display in room 1, Leo
  21. Thanks Wish a mission with vodka eh? Enjoy your evening. I got some of the first English asparagus for OH today, it's from the Wye Valley. Is there anything I can help you with on the hunt Leo?
  22. Thank you too Leo. She was moaning as she had to go up to Manchester from London, and she only had 20 minutes to get ready (hence the hair back) She sent the photo and said 'my hair is such a state' It's really interesting to see family likenesses isn't it. Her dress was from Miss Selfridge, because although work gave a dress allowance, it wasn't a huge one.
  23. Cheers Wish You think so? aaaw that's a lovely compliment, she actually looks very like me when I was her age (YD looks more of a cross between me and her Dad) so now I'm very proud
