She had to go back to Grandma's and she was desperate to escape. The airline said all that they would offer was a refund (which would take a couple of weeks to go back on her card) or, to get her on the next flight (tomorrow morning) She was delayed by several hours on her way out there and today was at the airport for hours, waiting in departures - and it turned out that the aircraft had never even left London. There was some fog, but other planes have both departed and landed, before/during and after her departure time. Perhaps this airline's not got the right equipment/enough planes/funding??? The trouble is, there's not much competition at all on that route, I think only 3 airlines go there and BA isn't one of them either. I'm putting the kettle on!!!

Eeek sorry, was on various calls with ED, she is marooned in the Isle of Man - she had a real nightmare on the way there. About 8 hours late (on a 1 hour flight) She's been at the airport now for 6½ hours and they've just cancelled her flight, which is the last one of the day - she's so upset! Boo my game wont load now and dinner's ready to be served - xxx

I don't know about those lights - I bought them for the outdoor Christmas tree ROFL and only after delivery, realised they'd work best in July or August!

They turn in to Shamrock Plants Piggly. But, with the chance you might get a four leaf clover plant??? (I haven't seen one) The lights don't have batteries, so they came on for only about 10 minutes - they have some dual method of storing/utilising sun/daylight - but the life of me I can't recall the details. Anyway, tonight they only lasted about 10 minutes!
