Sorry I was on the phone (financial advisor) I saw CDWM on usual time Wish - vile vile vile! Aaaagh ED's flight now pushed back until 8.15pm, have told her to go to the desk and a) complain that she got there at 12 noon and could only buy a coffee and a muffin with their handy delay food voucher and b) say 'Cut to the chase - where is this plant, and where are the crew?' and take no bull! -
Just seen news that princess beds and bubble chairs are back up to price, but for how long? Be warned!

Strangely she doesn't actually live that far from the airport North Greenwich/London City. No explanation why it was cancelled though, and it's only an hour's flying time. Your parents have been on a big trip away SIB!

I dunno Wish - good evening. I was out all day, had to go to a town I don't like, wait for the car windscreen and then take the car to the main dealer to leave it for service and MOT *sigh* Oh and I bought some food shopping, and a kettle and then got the train home. So, no great shakes really. ED is marooned at City Airport, waiting for her 13.30 flight, which was cancelled and she was put on the 19.30 instead How about you?

Well, you can't ask for the wrong thing in the virtual bar always stocked. Heard earlier from our ED she's flying to see her grandmother, a one hour duration flight, cancelled at 13.30 and rescheduled for 19.30 gaaah! They gave her a £6 food voucher and then charged her £2 to 'store' her luggage for her! I still do Freaky Friday, but our group is more disparate now, so not sure who still remembers...I do it because I'm an eeevil mother

FYI by the way, bit of luck - windscreen got away with a repair, not replacement, so no insurance excess to pay. Then at the garage, they said they can do a Dealer Service for something like £190 instead of the Manufacturer Service which would be more than double that - yaay!

OK I extended to let you guys in - the more the merrier! THE COMP IS NOW CLOSED! and judging will be tomorrow (I've had a hard day lol) -
We have front and back gardens, but they're a bit wild, very natural and inhabited by rabbits, ducks, pheasants, birds, squirrels and foxes. We have four raised beds and a couple of borders, and to be honest, after the awful winter and snow damage, they all need clearing and a massive replanting plan. But yes - this morning was lovely and very Spring-like...mind the hour has to change soon. -
I think it's nice to refresh the emoticons now and then. I use the laughing, eye rolling and hugging ones quite a lot, and I think they help express how you feel when words don't always give the full, or accurate, meaning. -

Just popping by to say Hello and Goodbye - car needs a new windscreen since the big stone chip at the weekend, and it can only be done today, which is a pain, as it has to go in tomorrow for a major service and the MOT test (compulsory after 3 years, and without it you can't tax your car, so on a time schedule!) Could do without it, and would far rather stay and chat.

Am half listening to Craig David on TV. Ed has met him at a friend's house and says he's really nice.

We can't work him out BG, will have to keep an eye on him and see. ED is ok thanks, she has a few days off and is going to see her grandmother - which she's really not looking forward to at all, but is a good girl for doing it.
