i bought a hel kit for my mk 2 1200 and it came with the wrong boilts mate they looked the same and entered the calipers but fortunately i noticed that the pitch was different so mk1 and mk2 bandits have a different pitch of thread on the calipers but for that price you could re use your original bolts if they are different

ive used maxxis on my car for about 6 yrs and theyre the best tyres ive ever had never tried them on me bike though but i think i will -

ive been to newcastle today as well -
maybe if he took the bike back to the same garage that done the mot they would test it but it sounds a bit dodgy to me -
