39 points and still driving
Grumpyowl replied to Davehutch-hutchs's topic in The Pub "Tinker and Budget"
I disagree They obviously think @39 points they are above the law. Some laws are popular others are not so. and most get peed off re motoring laws, in my 37 years on the road Ive been lucky never to have more than 3 points at any one time and each time ive been done, ive been sick as a Blackpool donkey in February. But I was breaking the law and speeding, so you accept your punishment and adjust your behavour to suit. Would it be funny if the 39 pointer who should not be on the road IMHO caused an accident and someone lost there life ? -
How easy is it ...
Grumpyowl replied to Davehutch-hutchs's topic in Advice on Repairing and maintaining your bike
I know this is not everyones cup of tea and my mate takes piss out of mine . The 1st thing I bought for my Hayabusa was a Baglux tank cover. They keep your tank pristine (for resale time). They are the best way to attach a tank bag. They are great for gripping the tank with your knees. I know Its "Marmite" you either love or hate the look but I've also put original Suzuki chrome "S" tank badges on mine and think they look smart. I've used one on 5 bikes now and would not be without one TBH -

Update.. Credit where Credit is due got both licenses back today 5th May, very very quick and all ok, so answer to my question No don't worry all will be OK. My Tip If you've got the new style passports as we have, do it online and keep your old one so you can check against the new ones(no argument if you have the originals). My old ones' now cut in two and in the post back to DVLA as promised.

My mates got one, had it about 6 yrs now Red/White naked. The only real problem was the TPS sensor which I think has been a common fault. His Honda dealer had it in nearly a month trying to fix it and trying to get Honda to pay on warranty (no chance). and finished up wanting over £1k to replace the knackered parts he did manage to get the part off ebay very cheap the guy selling didn't realise what a pot of gold he'd got for sale so let it go for peanuts. Its been ok since very smooth engine Quality finish over the Bandit. But Its a Heavy Big Lump. When you buy check out about that sensor
