I bought one new in 1998 best bike I've ever had had it nearly seven years and had a brainstorm that I fancied something new I said it before and will say it again and again the worst decision of my life selling that bike. In my opinion in the real world unless you live for trackdays better than the R1. God I miss my Thunderace

Done Assen twice, absolutely brilliant. The ride from the circuit is incredible with the motorway lined with people waving you off. I was still passing them 20 miles from the track. We stayed in Zwolle which is less than an hour to Assen but has a direct train to Amsterdam for Saturday night. Yep I work for a Dutch company and we stay in Zwolle when over with clients. We stay out in Amsterdam on the Thurs night Then up to Gronnigen for 2 nights get the train into Assen for the street party

What can you say bloody awfull images on the tv this AM,Poss 1,000 dead! And lets hope those Nuclear power stations dont go belly up.(Its looking likely) Just a thought the next time were snowed in for 2 days, Or a rideouts cancelled because of a bit of rain, thats about as extreme as it gets in the UK . Arn't we lucky to be living here with very few wheather extremes.
