  1. we had a 120d m sport. Lovely car but my god the sports suspension and run flat tyres was a killer for the spine!
  2. I was going to swap the back wheel with my dads but the offset is slightly different lol So looks like i'm stuck riding the MT-03 for a few days, I didn't want to as the PC5 is direct above the standard exhaust box, which gets VERY VERY hot!
  3. Got all kitted up to go out on the BMW.. 3" nail in the back tyre.. WTF did I do so wrong to deserve all this bad luck? Some how went in head side first with the sharp bit sticking out.
  4. Looks like the circlip inside the derailleur gave up. The spring inside pushed the derailleur from the hanger and as a result, locked the wheel up causing damage to frame whilst snapping the hanger in half!
  5. sounds good! i was there last sat! A few pics of some stuff you will see there! I'll be going to this for sure
  6. got some new parts on there way, if it fails again I will be going back to single speed like I had previously for the past 10 years.
  7. since my bikes were stolen I've had nothing but shit luck with any two wheel related items! The BMW engine was knackered as well with 5,000 on the clock.
  8. I used to be into cycling, but since my old bike was stolen, I've been slacking. So plan was to get out on the bike after work for a few hour every night. Well, that was the plan! Got a few miles out from home and this bloody happened! Snapped clean off whilst going along, locked the back wheel up and damaged the frame on the inside
  9. R.I.P but looking at the pics some speed was involved!!
  10. put the other o2 optimizer on, tweaked the map in some area's as guided by power commander and boy does it rip now :| no popping at all, no strange flat spot like i did have even after the mapping. Got to be easy on the throttle as its very very responsive!
  11. Depends on the bike. some allow you to fully control the fueling whilst others are locked on the ECU and can't be tweaked. For instance, the XT660 you can control the closed loop via the clocks, but the MT-03 is locked down. I did have a o2 controller fitted but it was causing all sorts of problems with the mapping so it had to be unplugged. I have another power commander one which I'm going to try tonight, but it does mean i have to play with the map that I've just paid to get done ( although backing it up first is a bloody good idea!! lol )
  12. in english? As far as im aware, there is no height restriction or no rule to say it has to be soft tail or hard tail. Only thing is it will be on a Q plate if you can get it to pass the SVA test
  13. So finally got it booked in for its dyno! Mivv GP cans make 41 bhp and 38.72 ft lb torque at the rear, akra's, arrows and leo vince are roughly the same give or take 1-2 bhp. Got my results printed off after 2 hours of tuning ( long story short, the o2 controller was playing havok! ) 45.32 bhp and 42.54 ft lb torque at the rear Only problem is the lambda sensor is unplugged and i got cables i need to sort out. All in all i was a little surprised for the makeshift exhaust! So here's to anyone who says a T shaped link pipe is worse than a Y piece... well on a single the T piece seems to be a lot better!
  14. looked like a good day out! shame i missed yet another year
  15. Aye, well played to them, just the old guy on bike who nearly dropped it before he went anywhere Gotta say though, one guy who was here there and everywhere, still had the reactions to stop when someone pulled out on him
  16. rofl!! You won't something different to the usual monster and red bull can!
  17. Anyone else watching this? Bit shocked to see someone who is 100 odd riding a motorcycle!
  18. Shit this weekend? Will have to change me plans then! good cheap day out and the stunt show is worth it on its own!
  19. one thing i noticed with Italian bikes, the detail, the style and the finish to the body work is brilliant, and they love cramming in all sorts of goodies! just the corrosion is bad. But i think the Aprilia ped is a bit overkill for a run around! probs costs more than a B king as well!
  20. yeah but its italian, it will break! Thats a v-twin scooter right?
