Cracking bikes, owned one for just over a year. If you can cope with the sports position for more than 50 miles that is! -
well there chinese not japanese, ( hence hong kong ) and i got the same ones, i best warn you though, after a few months of being used and out in the sun, the red goes pink.. i'll snap a pic later and show you ( infact, there almost silver now ) and the black seems to fade on the connector bit but not the lever, all in all good for the price though -

Same thing happened to a pair of boots I had, there's a product called stormsure which is for use on plastics/fabrics to make a waterproof seal. Works a treat and is also good for holding grips to the bars -
funny you should say that, me dads just got a brand new fjr and paid around £300 for insurance, he ent happy but then again he never is... insurance is just a rip off anyway, no surprise so many ride/drive without it! -
