  1. Noticed you can now tax a bike under 600cc ( i believe 400+ ) for 6 months!! since when have they been allowing that? It always used to be <599cc only 12 months 600cc> 6 or 12 months ( bandit being 599cc )
  2. Dont worry, i always have that problem.. Most people look at me thinking im a 16 year old on a Just look on the bright side, if they dont wanna help you, thats one less sale there going to get
  3. good old mowers them punch ( 14" by the looks of it :P ) better than the new age crap that breaks after a year of use lol
  4. mate, if you want me to have a look at it give me a shout might have a spare cpu lying around incase thats whats gone pop
  5. RS250 yes, others no... would be nice to see the CB750 Custom as more of a classic than it is atm ( there just rare, not classic lol ) i can see the W800 being a classic at a later date, just because it shares what the original bonny was
  6. lets just say, you dont want a chain snapping and going straight into your leg, not a nice outcome law or not i would still put one on
  7. TT will never be a classic, was a pile of shit when new, still is a pile of shit now.. Not many manufacturers will tell you that a bike they make is "the worse bike we have ever made, and ever will make!" thats coming from triumph themselves. Yes i've had one aswell :P and i have to agree, nowt but problemo's
  8. just under £500 for Z1000, KLE500 with all mods declared ( and theres a hell of a lot of em!! )

    dough

the extended version is good aswell The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours. Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still, as a crusty old man, was considered a roll model for millions. Doughboy is survived by his wife, Play Dough; two children John Dough and Jane Dough; plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes

    Now im pissed off

well... no new visor, wont replace the second one as the back i took it back in was scuffed ( dont ask how the hell that effects a visor that wasnt in it.. ) couldn't be bothered to argue it out so stuck with this one with a slight mark, still more usable than the first one. Replacement clear visor is £50+ and a tinted would still set me back atleast £45... new helmet soon i think lol

If some of you kind gents wouldnt mind, can you visit and click the adverts oh and i'll sort a link out for this forum ( if i havnt already ) http://www.sgnetwork.co.uk
  12. might go cheapo then and not replace them lol
  13. Now this is a bit of a odd one, and tbf never had to think about it due to all my bikes having tubeless tyres and non-spoked wheels, But do you need to replace the tube when you change tyres? or is it just adviced to?
  14. them cans themselves are absolutely fine.. i have nowt against them but on a v-twin you need something with that extra build quality, someone who knows a tad more about the bikes its going on Leovince/arrow/yoshi i believe have sorted out the cans, akrapovic etc... but as its a twin, cans will need rebuilding that little bit sooner to lower the risk of it blowing apart
  15. dont do it mate, the carbon cans on a v-twin without atleast 25% of solid metal on the inlet side, and no strap around the carbon, will split the carbon ends and blow holes in the carbon! the SV's TL's etc had the problem with yoshimura cans and other cans because they didnt have that extra bit of solid ( not perforated tube ) on the inlet side of the can. The heat and pressure the twins make is too much for the packing/carbon at the lower end without this they blow out..
