  2. is he mad? he will regret selling it for a R1 or blade... the torque on a big twin will leave most things for dust!! ah well if top speed is his thing and ragging the shit outta bike to get it there/for the thrill then hey ho! i know what i would do, thats keep the damn VTR!!! good luck with the sale, cracking looking bike.
  3. didn't use supplements, just the right sort of foods, high metabolism doesn't help. One of these years I'll sort meself out lol. Mind you, i did put on a stone. not visual results but suppose it was a weight gain of some sort! lol

  6. Well some of you might know me off other forums ( CF, OSS, BF, RF korider etc... ) My names matt, im a dwarf on a big bike been a memeber on here since back end of 2010, not too long after dave started the forum i believe? Currently own a 2005 Z1000 with loads of mods, and a 92 KLE 500, also with a fair few mods ( later pics to be posted soon )
  7. see im the other way round skinny as hell and wanted to put on some weight lol. gained a stone which is a bonus, still not exactly healthy weight though
  8. Agree with you on that! best one for me was getting a bike =D
  9. a lot of people take the steering damper off the TL's and say it improves the ride ( although can be a bit twitchy and wanna tank slap at heavy throttle/high speeds, no different to the zed's really.. ) Deffo try a Touno ( tuono? f**k knows which way you spell it ) or SV1000, a underdog like the cagiva V-raptor 1000, basically identical to the sv but with the TL engine, USD's, few extra goodies and cheaper
  10. Ale's stones for the Engrish people :P
  11. Agree, not easy! funny google pic ere.. and i qoute "Photo of Dave's House: daves_House.jpg"
  12. i'll try and get a ride on one friday for ya if i got time before going down south
  13. i have to drag me misses away from dragons every time we go to a pet store lol. i like geckos but she loves the dragons. One of the animals i really want to have within the next few years
  14. i'll take one for a spin and let ya know what there really like
  15. cracking bike but like nearly all muscle bikes, front end might feel a little vague
  16. each pot will be different.. if your running 2 length pipes then deffo need to sort the jetting out, the back will likely be running leaner which is why its a lot hotter than the front. Modded air filter/stock pipes:- Open main jet with a #55 drill bit, pos 1 flat washer under needle. Open exhausts/stock air filter:- shim needle 1 to 2 flat washers, leave main jet alone. open exhaust/modded air filter:- Open main jet with #55 drill bit, add 2 to 3 washers under needle. not 100% if thats 750 or 1000cc virago though.
  17. sod the fairing! take the new zed 1000 for a spin lol
  18. Rear and front disc covers painted satin black, look tonnes better, the footpeg hangers have been painted "hammered" silver, gaiters need to be put on, MOT'd and insured, just got to wait till thursday for tax then take it for a ride and see how it is oh and put on a small rubber tank pad to hide a nasty dent/scratch
  19. reminds me of a cup my dad got for his bday.. Reality TV - The only reality is tv is rubbish!
  20. if you ring the insurance companies and not use online quotes, they should be able to find it. had a few bikes that come up as different things though, the zed for instance shows up as a ZR1000 but is the z1000
  21. what age is it? as the old XL250's had twin shocks, and the XL250R has single shock
  22. i take it hasnt had the points and condenser mod done to it? converts it to a electronic ignition. not expensive, and sorts out the problem with weak/no spark. Something else aswell as computers that i can actually help with ahaha, dad was a lawnmower mechanic for like 30+ years
  23. im happy as it will only be like £26 to tax me kle!
