  6. -10 where the hell are you then???? should make little or no difference. but there will be some nice oil pressure!
  7. The Engine may be a little tight so don't over load it take yer time going though the gears.avoid hard acceleration.and don't be supprised if the it burns a drop of oil it could well do untill the rings bed in. Remember its all new so the brakes may need some time to settle in and of course the tyres to. I dare say others will be along soon. or thrash the life out of it that al loosen it up! I can follow you back in my van in case it blows up
  8. What viscosity gear oil have you in it now? I take that as -10 Celsius and not 57fahrenheit?

  13. Thats really sad to hear,My Mother called tell me that the road was closed and that her friend was unable to visit, I very nearly posted to say that A44 was closed between Crossgates and Nantmel as Mother said the air ambulance had been seen and the road was closed.I also recall Stu saying they where going to the seaside today if the weather was good.very weird I was sweating mate.... I rode the same stretch Yesterday . sad news but please take yer time.regards Gaz
  14. After having a think about this one I don't think the 400F was in fact the best bike I've owned.Having had so many bikes over the years they have all been good but have had there faults. The XS1100E was good smooth zero vibes shaft drive steady as a rock on Motorways and in high winds,But at 235kg (631 lb)starts toget heavey with 24litres (6.34 gallon)swishing about makes for entertaining handling. The Bandit 1200 good bike fast handles well light compaird with the above.poor tank range and the seats not the worlds best design chain drive ok but 23 years riding a shaft dirty oily things, naaaaa stoneage. So I am still looking for the best bike ever Has to be light, shaft drive, good tank range, handle well, take you any where, cruise all day at 80mph, quite motor, modern and reliable.easy to work on and maintain. so what fits the above?BMW R100T?Dunno your call.
