  1. Bloke came to pick up the bike this evening, paid me the £1,200 cash. Proper nice bloke, looked like he'd look after her, but was still sorry to watch it go off in the back of a van... Anyways, onwards and upwards - dead excited to pick up the TL at the end of the week
  2. Yeah i know. No-ones dropping me. Its £1,200 to him or the next man. End of LOL!
  3. Avondale didn't close down mate, it just moved As for Silverstone Motorcycles, they were being sued by Silverstone circuit for using the name that they had no rights to. So bureacracy has got the better of another trader. According to the guy who worked there, it doesn't help Victorys being complete . Apparently there are talks in the pipeline of a bike superstore near the circuit for all the main brands - fingers crossed...
  4. Cheers lads, i'm crap at selling/buying things at high value, must be the Yorkshire man in me... LOL Im going for a TL 1000 S next, should be picking up next weekend... I haven't, however i stated in the eBay listing that the bodywork/fairing has been modified, so shouldnt be any problems there...

  10. TL 1000 S mate! Dear on insurance but cheaper than most 1000s... Maybe something a bit quicker, in a build up area. Only joking mate, what are you after next? Gaz Well Gaz mate you can Van Gough!
  11. Time for my pride and joy to go! Here's the eBay link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-SUZUKI-GSF-600-BANDIT-RED-STREETFIGHTER-/300621831258?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item45fe751c5a If any of you fine people are interested please contact me, price will be greatly reduced for any of you Josh
  12. Not as lucky as nearly every othger motorist who speeds and doesn't get caught. But yeah, it gives me food for thought... I wouldn't agree with you there. You're possibly more lucky than others. Two speeding offences in close secession and you only get hit with one? How many people have been caught speeding twice, within two years of getting their licence and so lost it, and only been charged with one? My son didn't. So I think you've had more than your fair share of luck with this. I agree 100%. But still there are millions of others who speed every day and never get caught.
  13. LOL! It ain't advertising it's just a great way of covering up paint fade! Dave, how have you got pics of Chad's mum?
  14. I have a '04 CBR 600 RR shock on my Bandit that I bought for £35 16kg spring so great for heavier riders. I'm about 16 stone and its probs a little stiff as I have it set up atm but to be honest it really sharpens the handling and looks trick (yellow spring, gold anodised reservoir). All I had to do was trim some from the battery tray, and use washers to space the dogbones and top mount...
  15. BMW F800? Guy across the road has one, looks right tidy! Bandit 1200? Or for adventure type, Varadero?
  16. Nice one Chad mate! I'm in for sure! And the pic of the rideout would be great under the title banner on the front page Here's my contribution:

  18. Not a fan myself, but looks like a lot of work has gone into it and it's definatley something different!
  19. It wasnt a 'built up bloody area' mate! It as a dual-carrigeway A-raod that used to be a 40! And yeah I will learn from it! However, how many of us can claim to never speed...?
  20. Good news! I got a letter through the post the other day saying that as I recieved the second first NIP before the second offence, they have taken the decision to cancel the second offence and make me a conditional offer for the first! So, I've 'got away with' just 3 points and a £60 fine - result! Just goes to show that nothing is automatic and even in regards to speeding, the Police can still be reasonable. Cheers for all your support guys...
  21. Happy Birthday Itchy Rich!!!! Oficially now a forum 'elder' LOL!
