  1. Was going to clean the Busa today... (its been a while!) Found this. I didnt disturb him, he seem's to be a VERY heavy sleeper though..
  2. I loved my drink. Shifted plenty of it in the last 30+ years, Had some great times. Still fancy one sometimes. I know for me if could never be "one". I struggle with moderation, for me counting the days since the last one helps and makes me more determined not to set the click back to zero and start again. If I had real will power I'd be able to enjoy one or two and stop. I think of if as a few old chapters in my life, Now I've turned the page and started another. Never been anti-drink, if just didn't suit me.
  3. Welcome to my world. Five and a half years since I had a drink. Was hard work to start with, but not so much now.
  4. It's going to run at the dirt drags, but the tyres are road legal .
  5. I think it's ridiculous, fancy using Honda CX side panels, What was he thinking !! I keep looking at my Bandit or GSXR rollings chassis.. Mmmmmm........
  6. Mate Scotty is putting together a GSX1100G shaft drive dirt bike, might be worth standing clear when he gets to use it in anger! I love nutters.
  7. Jeeez, you lot are as bad as my Mrs, She keeps telling me Xmas Holidays are over and I need to go to work. Australia Day public holiday of Monday !
  8. Just went up Mt Gravatt lookout for a cold drink, its cooled down a little but still no snow. I'll keep looking....
  9. Pillions are good. Much easier to control the wheelies in the higher gears. Don't need the front so high, more room for error and time to control the back brake.
  10. I'd be happy to have a brand new unstarted 99 Busa and 83 Kat in my collection when I win lotto. Rather be looking at that lot everyday than the paintings and bits of art that folk spend a hundred times more on. Desmosedici needs a coat of Matt black and some Renthals though.
  11. Is it the manual version ? Mates got the semi auto / clutchless version, Made see think twice a couple of times !
  12. Mines for taking the Mrs out and weekends away together, one of the reasons for buying the GSX1400. She's not keen on the other bikes and I don't want to make them pillion friendly. Happy wife, happy life !
  13. I've eaten at enough Indian and Chinese takeaways in a few country's (Including the UK) that I'd bet I've had worse than horse meat !

  16. I've got summer gloves and ......... No........ thats it.
  17. I know bugger all about hard luggage. KAPPA-52 So it's a 52 litre size ? KAPPA ? good or crap make ?
  18. I hate luggage on bikes, F#ckin' awful ........ See if this turns out to be useful or if it gives me the sh#ts. In my defence I was given it (by the last owner) and it, box and rack, both come off it seconds If I want.
  19. Nice. Great little bikes. I'm after the older early "RG" one.
  20. Very nice Dave. Looks a lot smarter than mine... Had a laugh on mine yesterday. They are great fun, there's a few things I might do to it but I cant see me selling it, for clowning about on, its a lot of fun for very few $$$'s.
  21. 38-degree's C / 100-degree's F today. Felt a bit warmer in Jacket, gloves, jeans, Helmet etc. Bandit still went well though....
