  1. He did the bike on the roof stunt chase in James Bond Skyfall .
  2. Its something I post on so all my family in the UK can see and so I dont have to write, do Emails, or phone them up and pretend that I miss them.
  3. Mayan's ? 1: We use the Roman calender, the Mayans "End of Everything" was actually a while a go. 2: They didnt even see the Spanish coming! ..... Hasn't stopped a few folk having a good "End of the World" Party though...
  4. Hot as Hell today ! Air-con on, Ceiling fan's on, Cold drinks in fridge, Glasses being "frosted in freezer" Loud as anything outside, thunder and lightning coming in, same forecast for the rest of the week. Not bike weather, or earning money weather !
  5. Got to love a place where the local bussinesses pay girls in Bikini's to walk up and down and feed the parking meters for you! http://www.metermaids.com/
  6. Its not all out playing on bikes and dry roads! Some of us have to go to work in this heat. Spent all day yesterday working on sites on the Gold Coast sea front. Too bloody hot to be on a beach. Surfers Paradice. Burleigh.
  7. Original post in this thread seems quite normal. He's bought a writen-off bike that still go's OK but cant be re-registered for the road (but is great for a race track) and now he wants a trackday bike he CAN register on the road. I know several folk here and in the UK using insurance write-of's as race bikes.
  8. Getting too hot and humid to be wearing jackets, jeans, gloves and boots, but some of us struggled by and went up the mountain for breakfast this morning.....
  9. I know a woman who was quite sure that her husband was having an affair with a family friend. She'd checked his phone a couple of times and call history and text's were always deleted. One day she got his phone and swapped her number with the other womans number. Just after she left for work she got some very interesting text messages!
  10. Managed to fit the reg/rec into the new tail and squeeze the brake master in too, not 100% happy so they might both get relocated. Hit it with a blue rattle-can untill I make my mind up about paint, no rush. Had a play. Still go's like a stripped down Busa should. Not beautiful, but very entertaining.
  11. First time the stock pipes dont look huge !
  12. Mate Chris had two B-Kings before his Aprilia's. (He was "Megatron" on the B-King forum) He loves them, has the Tuono V2 and RSV4 and another (maybe a 750?) Im not convinced. Last time I saw him at the dealers he was collecting his almost new bike after it had had a new engine due to the last one going off like a grenade ! Each to their own.
  13. Test rides ? You dont need to understand French, just watch, its pretty self explanitory... (or just start 2m 30sec's in...)
  14. Congrats. Great news. Looks like a good trade to be in the way things are going. Hope it works out for you.
  15. I can remember all their cam chain issues ! Local lads have had their BMW S1000RR's recalled for new big end bolts! B-Kings had new regulators/rectifiers and some got checked for loose clutch bolts. Remember the 1st of the Busa's with their alloy subframes that soon got changed to steel but Suzuki denied there was a problem?
  16. It wasnt a dig at Ducati, Suzuki have had enough cases.....
  17. The 600 monster is classed as a "learner bike" here. Below 660cc, over the minimum weight for its horsepower. (Gutless)
  18. Nut was done up tight, Spindle moved forward, adjuster bolt that pushes it out bent. Dealer blamed me. I blamed dealer. Within 6 months I knew to another, and a magazine had it happen on a road test. I was told by someone in the trade that it was a design fault and certain bikes were getting parts exchanged. (although i've never seen it documented) I just thought it funny a demo bike didnt make it to the end of a demo ride...
  19. Naaaa..... I ride Suzuki's now, I'm out of practice.....
  20. I bought the DVD a while back. Was worth every penny. Very good.
  21. Indicators, brake, tail and numberplate lights wired up, New mounts made for the GSXR seat to bolt to the Busa frame. Key'd seat lock swapped over to the GSXR tail, slowly crossing off the little jobs......
