  1. B-King's a crap pillion bike. Small seat, high peg's, no grab rail, and the bodywork stops them gripping with their legs. mine had the pillion seat and foot peg hangers removed year's a go. Hangers are only on 2 bolts each side and it looks neater without them. Ex-wife and ex-partners all rode their own bikes. New partner hasn't been on a bike, but says she will at some time.
  2. I like this one......... http://www.bom.gov.au/qld/forecasts/brisbane.shtml
  3. Out of the crate, low miles. Full height, mirrors, tool kit, 40psi in the tyres, no burnouts, mine run's 10.3's at the strip all day.

  5. Love the style, but NOT the motor. Never been a huge fan of V-twin's but a SV/TRL/TLS/Raptor/DL1000 lump would be fun.
  6. Spent all day today working on it. Put up an internal partition, Bought a heap of timber, Put up 5 rack's of shelves, Sorted out most of my tool's, did a Ute load to the dump. Slowly getting organised. Might get to look at a bike soon !!!
  7. Still need power, lights, driveway etc etc. Have ton's of stuff in storage. Was a mad rush to be out of old house by today.
  8. Old house is now sold/gone so I treated myself to a 2nd bike lift, a 2nd roll cab tool chest and so decent racking / shelving. Loads still to do.
  9. Got a lot of Common Gecko / Asian House Gecko's. On top of cupboards, behind clocks, picture frames etc. Walk up the wall's, Window's, upside down on the ceiling. Freack's the dog out but they keep the bugs down. Bloody "chirping" drives you mad if your a light sleeper!
  10. The things are everywhere out here ! I remembered this thread when I was walking though the park in Sydney on Saturday and took a couple of quick snaps. They are even more common at home in Brisbane.
  11. Just got off a flight back from Sydney to find this ........
  12. This one belongs to Steve, one of my neighbours a few door up..... Google... "Travertson V-Rex"
  13. Moved the Bandit-12 to the new house yesterday evening. (and had a bit of a play on the way) Was a nice day, then storm hit later though. (its storm season here) 20,000+ lightning strikes, power out, one dead (car crash) several roof's off.
  14. Just rub it in why dont ya Naaaa.... If I was going to rub it in i'd tell you about the girls going around the supermarket in their bikini's! Makes the frozen food section worth a look...
  15. Havent even seen a frost in the last 7 years. No "winter hacks" for me anymore. I might go down the beach later...
  16. I bought a brand new bandit 12. Changed pipes, bars, indicators, cam's, ingition advancer, cut the rear guard off, plumbed in a 60hp NOS wet Nitrous kit, changed the crappy diaphram clutch and a heap of other stuff. Was down the same shop I got it from when the Salesman asked me how it was going, and did I know the 1st service was free / included in the price. When I took it back at 2 weeks old the look on their faces was priceless.
  17. Just a pile of plastic and nuts and bolts. I'd do it to an NR750 if I had the $$$. If it was the only one in the world then it might be a shame, But seeing as their are 1500 of them and the owner (not RS, the builder) has 3 and has kept all the bits as "spares" No crime in chopping anything up if $$'s will buy another. I like it. Would be a lot of fun.
  18. ...would be fun with a slightly larger engine, something like this.....

  20. I wouldnt have posted a clip of the crash. I thought the tribute clip to him was quite good. Im suprised no one has mentioned the vid going around of the medic's dropping the stretcher as they took him off track !
  21. Just the same as if you lost your V5 and had to apply for another. All the info is on their system. We just dont bother with the bit of paper that the UK use as a "reciept" and is not proof of ownership.
