  1. The original Dunlop Qualifiers fitted to the B-King are not the same as some of the aftermarket Dunlop Qualiers. They look the same, size, pattern and name, but... The tyres on my bike were "Made in Japan", after market were "Made in USA". One was 3 ply, one was 4 ply, the aftermarket USA tyre had noticably better grip / maybe softer compound.
  2. Hi Mate. Welcome. Had my B-King 4 years. October 07.
  3. You dont stop riding because you get old, You get old because you stop riding. What do you call a biker in a suit ? The accused ! Sign in a bike shop window.. "Stop existing, start living" Whatever I die from, It won't be boredom ! Harley Davidson. How to turn petrol into noise, without the side effect of horsepower. Im nor racist, I'll race ANYONE. ...and then it went... Earth, Sky, Earth, Sky, Ambulance ! Four wheels move the body. Two wheels move the soul. How do you go dragracing with a small budget ? Start with a large budget !
  4. My Kat holds the record at 12 years as the longest i've kept any bike. Dont think there was anything by the end that I hadnt chopped, changed, broken or taken to bit's ! I bought myself a 1980 ET to replace it, but i'll still have another Kat one day. (needs to be a SD, black motor, alloy pegs, GSXR slabbie style wheel model)
  5. ZZR1100C3. Chain adjusters upside down to raise the rear, suspension rebuilt as "sports" not bag of custard, lots of engine work, Twin headlamp "2 x 90w" conversion for midnight run's.
  6. ... and Dave, I was serious when I said on the B-King forum that you should buy a radiator guard ! Dhooo!!! ..... Talk about "locking the stable door after the horse has bolted" ...
  7. I've worked long and hard for the last 30 years, always wanted a "bike only" shed, no kids push bikes, lawn mowers or the usual junk that fill's it up. Im also looking into breaking a few bikes up for spares / parts. Ebay cheapies, damaged auction bikes etc etc, but ONLY 4 cylinder 1000cc+ Suzuki's. I have a 2nd bike bench on order to match the current one. Cheap chinese crap but I've used or had a bike sat up on it everyday for the last 2 years and it works well.
  8. All those tricked up B-Kings makes mine look pretty tame and boring. I came close to losing my licence a while back so bought mine as a completely legal run about, no loud pipes, tail tidy or anything to upset the cops.
  9. yeh see those birds there. thats his dunner Naaaaa, he's only a huntsman spider. Its the Golden Orb spiders that catch birds, had a few in the garden, web's like fishing line!! (not one of my pic's, but you get the idea)
  10. Teaching my new dog he's no longer allowed free run of the house...
  11. Force of habit. The term "ute" is used out here like you'd say Van or Pick-up !
  12. Not too sure how this is going to turn out, but I only have 3 or 4 weeks to get something built. Current plan is a 6m x 9m steel "3 car" About 20 x 30 foot, with 2 roller doors, and lift the ground 400mm "ish" Hopefully something like this....
  13. Got a couple of projects on the go or planned, problem is im moving house to somewhere with no shed ! So project "number 1" is somewhere to put the projects. Bottom of the back yard... After a trim and a bit of a measure...
  14. Some useless info for you Dave. The HUGE exhausts you can see out the back arent! They are fakes/plastic covers. The real "can" is an ugly box under the pillion seat. Changing the pipes doesnt find many pony's. I've beat 2 B-Kings in dyno shoot outs with my stock exhaust (but they looked a zillion times better!) One of them had an identical A/F ratio to mine with no re-mapping so the bike seems to compensate well to having its can's changed. Can's look good, but the front pipes arent great and there's an "EXUP" type power valve and a cat-converter too, so if your after more pony's an aftermarket Busa front section is an idea. The long rear guard has a VERY heavy subframe under it. A tail tidy saves a lot of weight. No need for a powercommander on a new Busa or B-King. The stock ECU can be flashed/re-mapped and you can also do lots of tricks like like turning the TRE on/off etc (BK's are restricted to 155mph, lower than Busa's GSXR's etc) with the stock ECU if you have the software and know how.
  15. Hi Shaun, and welcome. Which Suzuki 125 do you have ? I had the DR and the TS125's. Had a lot of fun... Tony.
