  1. For a bit of interest on old stock, check the date on the side wall. Should have the month of the year (anything from 1 to 52) followed by the year.
  2. We have B-King demo bikes out here Dave... (Ad from Aussie bike mag)
  3. "How cool is this helmet!?!" Not half as cool as this one !
  4. I hear there's been a few cuts to the royal budget recently ?
  5. A local guy to me is building 5700cc V8 "Barbarians" http://barbarianv8.com/
  6. Love the turbo Busa in the 1st post I would question if it'd do a genuine 400kph? there are Busa's that will, but they are not very streetable....
  7. I still buy thing like Renthal bars from the UK, we get them here but not the whole range, They take less than a week to my door, I dont pay your VAT or any import tax. I do the same with Yoshi pipes from the US. About half the AU price.
  8. Was looking at a complete Gen1 Busa front end here in AU for near AU$1000. Looked on the US Ebay and a complete Gen2 Busa front end is around US400 ! ... and a US$ is worth LESS than an Aussie $ and the Gen 2 has great radial brakes not "average at best" 6-pots on early Busa's! No import tax on person imports under $1000 either. .....(wanders off to shake piggy bank)
  9. Yeah, I figure finding an affordable Gen2 Busa or B-King radial front end to take the matching front wheel will be the bit I (my wallet) struggles with !
  10. Isnt that a stock B-King ? Bloody cop's around here have worked out that big new bikes have cat-converters in the exhaust, and that LOTS of sportsbikes have aftermarket full systems, (which have no cat-converters) A simple electronic sniffer up the end can gets you a ticket and a fine. The 3rd ticket for it you loose your bike. Not being widely policed yet, but they now know they can do it !
  11. Interesting seeing the Hayabusa wheel and parts modded to fit a B12. I just happen to have a B-King / Gen2 6" Busa wheel and a Gen1 B12 bike. I though it would fit at a squeeze. Interesting.
  12. It's a habit of mine. Everytime I see something trick or interesting listed my 1st thought is "I wonder what else he has?"
  13. He has a few other nice items listed too. Busa wheel to fit a B12, USD front end, Shocker. Motor.
  14. One of the lads out here (Pete) put a 300+hp intercooled Turbo Hayabusa motor into a GSXR600/750 frame. Wasnt an easy fit but anything is "do-able" if you set to with a grinder and welder !
  15. Putting the Yam 600 motor into the 400 is very popular, been done quite a few time. Seen the 400 with everything from big single cylinderthumper motors to RD/RZ350 2-strokes. I think using the YZF1000 motor would be more complicated but would keep things "interesting" http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1988-YAMAHA-FZR-400-STREETFIGHTER-1000cc-/270873857685?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item3f11570e95
  16. Seen several motor swaps with the FZR400. They seem a popular bike for it. One of the better ones had a 900 Fireblade engine. Went OK.
  17. Tell him im South of London, he'll be fine....
  18. I have a Mk1 B12 centre stand. (with springs and bolts, never seen a winter or salt) Its free, but you'll have to collect it
  19. Picked up some parts today and a Kwak shock came with them. I was guessing at ZX12R but some else thought ZX6R. Anyone have any idea what its from ?
  20. ........... Forecast for Wednesday Fine. Light to moderate NE to SE winds. Precis: Fine / Dry City: Min 18c Max 30c Bayside: Min 18c Max 28c
  21.
